Bob Woodward was in a state of SHOCK over how horrible Joe Biden's debate performance was. "A political hydrogen bomb," he called it. You just know he would have also called it WORSE THAN WATERGATE if Carl Bernstein had not already beaten that phrase to death. Okay, if he didn't actually say it out loud he was definitely thinking it. Oh, and getting hit with a hydrogen bomb is definitely WORSE THAN WATERGATE.
I liked him. I BELIEVED HIM. But, as an adult, I came to the point where I had to say "There is just too much evidence he had a hand in the coverup." And the GOP reached a point where they took the long walk up the Mall to the White House and told Nixon he had done enough damage to the country, and it was time to go.
And right THERE is the difference. Democrats stood by their corrupt leaders and never blinked. Obama? They sat on their hands. Serial rapist, semen-stained dress, lying to a Grand Jury Bill Clinton? NOT A SINGLE DEM SENATOR even walked over to the Ford building to see the EVIDENCE before they voted against impeachment.

IN the early 1900's, there were the muckrakers. Upton Sinclair, Lincoln Steffens and the lot... Journalists that reacted with horror at government corruption, horrible manufacturing crimes, the "Trusts"; they EXPOSED everything, on both parties.
