CNN is attempting to silence independent media and control the narrative surrounding the first 2024 Presidential debate on Thursday by not allowing the use of CNN’s live broadcast to report and comment on the debate in real time.
This revelation comes after CNN’s Kasie Hunt abruptly cut off Trump’s spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt, after she brought up Jake Tapper’s history of comparing Trump to Hitler and told people to “Google ‘Jake Tapper Donald Trump.'”
It’s not enough to turn off President Trump’s microphone or to cut off spokespersons in interviews.
Jesse Watters compared this move to slapping a gag order on the Trump campaign. “We knew Trump’s mic would be muted during the debate, but we didn’t know his campaign’s mic would be muted before it,” said Watters.
It appears they took a page or two out of the Democrat playbook regarding gag orders and reaching out to social media companies and YouTube to censor conservatives.
According to Tim Pool, the far-left YouTube contacted him, stating that CNN is not allowing live commentary on the debate and that "they are asking other networks who are doing the exact same thing to abide by certain restrictions."
Per Voz:
CNN alleges that its request has more to do with image rights than anything else. In the preceding presidential election, Fox also sought to sue those who used its live broadcast to comment on the debate on internet platforms, though it eventually dropped the legal battle.
Tim Pool assured this Monday that what the television network really wants is that "no one breaks its narrative." The commentator assures that preventing communicators like him from doing live monitoring of the debate with commentary and fact-checking is an attack against the basic principles of civic and democratic participation.

CN&N (Silk) ought to thank Trump for bringing them some revenues by agreeing to this debate. He’s doing them a favor they don’t deserve.
The viewership will probably be 40 times what CNN normally gets.
They’ll get as much ad revenue off the debate as with maybe two days of regular broadcasts.
No one is going to care to hear live commentary over what the candidates are actually saying.
Louder with Crowder WILL be live fact checking the debate on rumble.
It is a trap and I put nothing past CNN, including dubbing his voice with AI.

I would hope Team Trump at least has the ability to tape what all goes on so that he can prove stuff like that. Remember during the Leslie Stahl interview.... they did some outrageous editing stuff taking things out of context.... and because PDJT had cameras set up behind their cameras, he could prove what was actually said.
They have had Biden secluded at Camp David for 2 weeks. One of the reasons for doing this, besides testing out new drugs on him, is to reset his body clock. He is normally in bed at 7PM. The debate is from 9-11 PM. By resetting his time by an hour each day, by the time the debate rolls around, his body will think it is 9-11 AM. Also CNN controls the cameras. You can be sure they will cut away from Biden if he starts to stare into space or is shown adjusting the earpiece in his ear.
Staunch defenders of democracy that they are…
First off, the 1st Amendment DOES NOT give CNN the right to control who gets to comment on the debate and who doesn't. THESE ARE PUBLIC OFFICIALS WE'RE TALKING ABOUT HERE and if I want to do a livestream and fact check these shysters, (debate moderators) then BY GOLLY I'M GOING TO DO IT!!!!!!
And screw CNN and any judge they choose to buy off to get what they want. Nobody is going to abide by the "cease and desist" B.S. The judges need to stay the heck out of this.
This is our nation on the line here and these shysters (Tapper and Bash) need to be exposed for the frauds that they are.
Image rights?
CNN is making money DIRECTLY off what has become government function.
They do this without compensating the taxpayer.
CNN wouldn’t be allowed to use a government construction crew to build them a building. Even more so getting access to free labor. Yet that is EXACTLY what CNN does when it covers these debates. They use public politicians to sell their advertisements.
Any “rights” they have are fictional.
So they’re not allowing any commentary? Fox or other networks as well?
