Report: Poland and Baltic Countries Prepare To Send Troops Into Ukraine if Russia Makes a Strategic Breakthrough
The Gateway Pundit ^ | May 27, 2024 | Paul Serran

Against the backdrop of continuing Russian advances, some Western leaders have started to advocate missile strikes inside Russian territory, from NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg up to chief warmonger, former British Premier Boris Johnson:

Now, some European neighboring countries have started preparing to introduce their troops into Ukraine in case of strategic Russian advances in Eastern Ukraine.

The Baltic states and Poland have warned Germany that they could send troops to Ukraine if the situation gets noticeably worse for Kiev due to its allies being reluctant to supply it with weapons.

No one in the region forgets that, or that the same area was organically Polish earlier for many centuries. Even as Poland claims (sincerely) to be happy and content in her current borders, a Polish protectorate over Western Ukraine seems plausible, even necessary, diluted perhaps by NATO and EU supervision.

Otherwise, an ungoverned Western Ukraine would almost certainly generate partisan activity and competing Ukrainian governments. As it happened, after the end of WW II, a Ukrainian partisan army led by a renegade SS Colonel and affiliated with Bandera invaded and pillaged what is now the southeast corner of Poland.

"I do not see the Baltic states sending any of their troops to Ukraine. They need all of them for their own defense."

If they're sensible to see it that way. The politicians in D.C. don't seem to have a problem sending unaccounted-for billions of tax payer dollars to Ukraine, all the while bankrupting the U.S., and diminishing our own ability to protect this country.

What about NATO’s new alliance with Sweden and Finland?

*************

It’s a continuation of our current foreign policy stupidity. (Read the 2009 & 2021 US-Ukraine Strategic Partnership.)

Sweden & Finland are “little domino” countries that Berlin, Paris, & London can worry about.

Our financial & industrial capacity as Great Power Nation is shredded, and this reality will prevail over the next decade.

It’s an opportunity for Zelensky to send even more white Christian men to their deaths.

I think the Americans and NATO should join the Russians in taking over Ukraine. That way they can split the country and Russia get no Nazis and no bombing of their people in the Donbas, and America & NATO gets to buy up the rest of Ukraine for BlackRock and the globalists. It’s a deal made in heaven.

You assume an awful lot. A lot of people died from underestimating Russia’s military strength. I don’t have much faith in NATO or the military strength of the west. The war in Ukraine isn’t Afghanistan or Iraq where the West has dominance over the other country. The clowns leading the west have already destroyed Ukraine. Now they want to escalate the war by sending troops into Ukraine. I guarantee they will beg America to save their ass again. The problem is I don’t think we have the military strength we think. Obama and Biden did a good job destroying our military.

Just imagine the first call to Zelensky by the newly elected President: “President Zelensky, this is the President of the United States. We have decided to enter the war…on the side of Russia. Bombing begins in 15 mins. I recommend that you surrender before then. Thank you for your time. By the way, this is a perfect call.”

Poland and The Baltic states abut Finland and Sweden. All SIX have a stake in a resurgent Russia invading its neighbors Soviet-style.

Sweden has a first-world military aircraft industry. Hardly “domino territory” for Europe.

Poland and Sweden -- now allies in NATO -- have substantial arms industries and a long military tradition that predates American independence. Many of those chapters involve fighting Russia. In a showdown, Poland and Sweden could readily block Russian trade through the Baltic and deal a major blow to the Russian economy.

As an indication of divergent real world interests and the balance of military power, the US and Germany have opposed Ukraine striking inside Russia. Sweden though has indicated support for Ukraine in striking targets on Russian territory with Western-made weapons.

Swedish Defense Minister Pal Jonson just stated publicly that "Ukraine has the right to defend itself through military actions aimed at the enemy's territory as long as the military actions comply with the laws of war." Jonson added that Sweden stands behind international law and Ukraine's right to defend itself.

Your move, Vlad. Are you feeling lucky, punk?

The Polish military is no longer under any illusion that Russian troops are poor quality and easy to defeat. Russian forces relieve the latest equipment, 6 months of training, and there are no longer 380k Russian soldiers but 1.2m and the number goes up 300,000k each six months.

Poland like Ukraine will find out that Russian drones are now more plentiful than Ukrainian and are just another layer of superiority of the Russian military.

Oh, Russia will eliminate western forces as a priority over Ukraine forces. I suspect Russia will use neutron bombs and possibly their liw radiation tactical nuclear weapons on EU soldiers as a response to attacks inside Russia.
I can’t wait to see how the MSM spins Biden shatting himself this time. Diaper Joe and knee pad hoe gotta go.

You have an excellent read on what both China and Russia is telling the west.

Belarus declaring war on Ukraine and or Poland, Baltic states is yet another wide card as Poland ramps up the BS.

Russia will not use nuclear weapons. Nor will Russia find the Polish and Swedish militaries a pushover.

If Russia takes the entire East/Left Bank of the Dnieper, then Poland will claim the entire West/Right Bank as part of a restored Greater Polish/Lithuanian Commonwealth, which could also claim all of Belarus. Once one nation can expand its borders by invasion and force of arms, anyone else can, and in fact must to keep the aggresor out and away from its heartland. Putin has already offered such a partition to Poland. Also remember that Putin is still holding the wreckage of Poland’s Air Force One and refused to return it after shooting it down. NATO chose to ignore that.

I had forgotten that.

The Poles haven't forgotten that, and inviting the Polish president, and then executing him and his entire entourage was a disguised act of war. Tusk covered it up, because it benefited him politically. Putin hasn't forgotten that when Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and Lithuania were joined as one state, they occupied Moscow.

“Yeah. What mean, “We”?”

Yep. That’s the royal “We”. Not him, that’s for sure. He means my sons. They’re very profligate with lives of other men’s children.

I hope we are both wrong for our children’s sake, but your NATO pals are simply big mouthed gas bags. ?We have not heard shIt from either France nor Britian after they were warned by Russia. Someone believes, but it ain’t Biden’s woke college advisors taught the Chicago Way of thuggery in domestic politics.

This is the SECOND STRIKE of a radar intended to detect incoming nukes. Ukraine is playing a very very dangerous game. If NATO is STUPID ENOUGH to launch ANY missile from their territory into Russia, my guess would be the capital city of that country should get NUKED!

A strike on radars that do a lot more than just detect ballistic launches. Something Ukraine should have hit first thing. And why would NATO launch missiles into Russia? What benefit does that get? And if Russia tried to retaliate, what makes you think they'd be successful?

Why you ask, simple, Ukraine blinded Russian defenses and they have no way to tell if the incoming NATO missile is Conventional or Nuclear.

If Russia is that blinded, I'm pretty sure they'll be able to tell if it's nuclear or not from how big the crater is.
