According to data from the American Automobile Association, Mississippi has the nation's lowest gas prices.
A gallon of regular gasoline averages $3.06 per gallon, 54 cents below the national average of $3.60. That's four cents less than last month, but seven cents higher than the same time last year.

We had a terrible storm last night, power is out all over town and the town canceled the Memorial Day parade. I won’t be able to see cars decorated in memory of mothers that died this year.

They need the lowest gas prices. They are one of the poorest states. I’m glad they are getting a needed break.

I filled up in Laurel at a Shell station for $2.85 a gallon before heading back to Wisconsin. Gas in Illinois was $3.79!

I know it’s not for some everyone and some folks don’t have the option.
But I no longer drive.
Moved to a town that I can walk to everything..including work.
