Everything on tv is rigged. *reality* tv is ALL rigged especially the *news*.
If Trump is determined to walk into this ambush, he should practice like a marine — until he can’t get it wrong. Newt Gingrich would be a great head debate coach.
I would like to see a debate with no moderators. Have each candidate ask questions to the other.
Or have each candidate select who asks questions of the other. I think Trump would ask Tucker Carlson or Joe Rogan to question Biden.
Trump agreed to this. I’d like to see him clean Biden’s clock, but given the forum and who is moderating, it’s hard to see him doing that. In most scenarios, I don’t see how this helps him.
“Our side” media should organize a press event immediately after this s#itshow, so Trump can continue on in his usual style.
I would like to have seen G. Gordon Liddy and Rush Limbaugh as moderators. They would’ve been a lot fairer than the ones we actually have had.

The “moderators” won’t really moderate or facilitate the discussion of the issues. They’ll tee up Biden’s campaign pitches, then interfere when Trump responds, or makes his own campaign speeches. That’s how they operate their cable news shows- they give the Democrats wide latitude, then when a Republican is on, they interrupt and won’t allow an answer without offering some sort of contradicting opinion.
CNN will only add to Trump’s victory because they will A) use a transparent “Chris Wallace attack strategy” which will blow up in their face because Trump will not allow it, or B) they will try to be fair and Trump will destroy Joey.
If you have been listening to Trump speak lately, it is pretty clear that, however good the polls we are seeing are, the internal polls his campaign is sitting on are still better.
That will further embolden Trump to take the whole thing over.
