Lahaina is still in ruins, residents sleeping in tents on the beach. Probably being waited out by vultures who’ll swoop in and buy up prime, beach front Maiu real estate for their walled-off mansions and chain luxury stores. Where’s that “rescue package”?
But yeah, Uke gets another $60 billion.
There’s nothing “anti-Trump” in recognizing potential avenues of success for passage of legislation we all want. Trump’s may be our guy, but his ability to independently move bills through Congress simply doesn’t exist.
More $$$ would just be slurped up for supplying illegal immigrants with cellphones, debit cards, free meals, free medical care, bus and airfares, free lodging (in luxury hotels for God's sake)!!! How much of that money stays with fat-cat NGOs for "administration" fees? How much pf THAT is being kicked back to Dem politicians by those NGOs??? Hmmmm????
Starve the border beast!
I agree.
Same with the educational system. Throwing money at government programs is a waste of money, especially if that money goes to the same people who created the problem.
Half the the Republican party if bought and paid for by the Chamber of Commerce and defense industry and couldn't give a damn about the well being of the masses.
Because of concerns about the SCOTUS, that argument used to work for Republicans like Lindsey Graham. But, now, the Republican establishment types nothing to hold over the heads of voters in order to justify their constant betrayals.
Agreed.
SCOTUS nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson was confirmed by the senate 53-47. Three Republican senators voted for Jackson. They were Susan Collins (R-ME), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Mitt Romney (R-UT).
It’s really not the corrupt foreign governments that bother me, it’s the corrupt American government.
Hallelujah! You've flipped your tune on that point at least! Stick with it!
