One prospective juror broke down in tears after revealing her connection to Trump’s former lawyer and convicted perjurer Michael Cohen and former NJ governor Chris Christie.
“I feel so nervous and anxious right now,” the juror said as she began to cry.
“I don’t want to waste the court’s time,” she said. “I thought I could do this. This is so much more stressful than I thought it was going to be.”
The judge excused the juror.
Fox News reported:
A potential juror who said she had connections to both former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Donald Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen has been excused.
The woman said her father is a lifelong friend of Christie, who ran against former President Trump in the 2016 and 2024 Republican primaries, and that she works at the same company as Cohen’s son

>> how did this person magically get to the point of selection?
Would that be something facilitated by corruption?
The only reason for crying is that she was trying to conceal it.
just another “Drama Queen” looking for 15.
She was so looking to convicting Trump but she just could not keep her story secret
Bingo!
I’d cry if I had any sort of connection to Cohen too.
I must tearfully admit that I too have a connection to both Christie and Cohen.
Never met either of them, or probably not even come within 1000 miles of either of them, but I despise them both as much as if they were my “ex- Mother-In-Law’,..... so I guess that is sort of a connection.
The ‘incest’ in the plot against Trump gets wider, just like the ‘incest’ among members of the Deep State in general. (Yeah, I know that those are basically the same thing).
I bet the only reason she admitted it is that she was afraid that Trump’s investigators would find out about it and give reason for mistrial.
There’s no crying in lawfare!
Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon
“I thought I could convict the SOB”
I’d be afraid of those connections, no matter what I thought of the case.
I am no lawyer
But can’t this trial be moved ? There were many trials that were moved based on the fact the defendant wouldn’t be able to get a fair trial
Why not move it to Florida? I don’t understand really
There is absolutely no way trump would be able to get a fair trial in a state that never votes republican
Are trumps lawyers bad ???
🤓👍
Grounds for appeal...
NOT impressed with Trump’s Lawyers....at all!! FLATFOOTED and SLOW FOOTED!
