I briefly heard Mark Simone filling in for Hannity on the radio today when I was out for a short errand drive. Simone said that he has to give Buttigieg a lot of credit for the way the shipping companies are handling the closed port.

Simone said that Buttigieg so fouled up the supply chain when he was AWOL during the west coast port of Los Angeles backlog that the shipping companies were forced to rethink their backup plans and secondary routes to keep the supply chain running.

It's because of that foul-up that the industry is better equipped to react to the closure of the Baltimore port today, and Simone credits Buttigieg's massive failure then that forced the shipping industry into the better position they're in today.

Talk about a back-handed compliment!
