Christine Blasey Ford will release a memoir five years after she accused then-Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh of assaulting her.
Ford’s memoir, One Way Back, is slated for public release on March 19, and the central topic is her allegations against Kavanaugh. According to Ford, Kavanaugh groped her during a gathering at a house in suburban Maryland in 1982. Kavanaugh vehemently denied the accusations from Ford, in addition to the two other women who stepped forward with claims of misconduct.
“The fact is, he was there in the room with me that night in 1982,” an excerpt reads. “And I believe he knows what happened. Even if it’s hazy from the alcohol, I believe he must know.”
“In One Way Back, Ford recounts the months she spent trying to get information into the right hands without exposing herself and her family to dangerous backlash,” Macmillan Publishers wrote of the memoir. “The book reveals riveting new details about the leadup to her testimony and its overwhelming aftermath and describes how she continues to navigate her way out of the storm.”
“This is the real story behind the headlines and the soundbites, a complex, page-turning memoir of a scientist, a surfer, a mother, a patriot and an unlikely whistleblower. Ford’s experience shows that when one person steps forward to speak truth to power, she adds to a collective whole, causing ‘a ripple that might one day become a wave,'” Macmillan Publishers continued.
Ford stated that if Kavanaugh had apologized for the incident, she might have changed her opinion of the man, saying that she maybe would have thought, “He was a jackass in high school but now he’s not.” However, he denied the event.
Kavanaugh was nominated to the Supreme Court under then-President Donald Trump’s term despite the allegations. The FBI’s supplemental background investigation also found no corroboration with Ford’s allegations.
Ford remains a psychology professor at Palo Alto University and the Stanford University School of Medicine in California.
Could maybe Kavanaugh sue her for $83 million?
Yes he can.....................
Really. I wonder what her advanced was for the book? $1.98
The Senate judicial committee brought in a sexual assault investigator from Arizona to assist. She debunked CBF’s testimony...
This the PhD who denied teaching lessons on how to manipulate lie detector and jury results.
I’m going with “wish” (she might have wished it had happened, but more likely she just wished she had a way to destroy Kavanaugh and made it up).
So Ford worked with Lawfare operatives supplied by Dems on the Judiciary Committee to construct an ugly narrative from pieces of context she could remember (like K was a heavy drinker, partier, etc.; girls get drunk and jumped at parties; perhaps she experienced or witnessed something like that or heard that someone did something). I think the “recovered memory” story was invented to justify the absence of specific facts, so as to deprive K the ability to defend himself.
He grinded on me.... lol
Good God....does she have yet *another* book in the works???
Yep......................
Good question!
Huh? Why would you believe that? The fraud is FORD. Do you remember Keyser?
Brett Kavanaugh should sue her for the money she is making on the book and any appearances anywhere.
Yet Trump gets a fine imposed for Jean Carroll’s lies.
We live in a totalitarian state.
Cleaning my guns.
Believe what? I have zero idea why you’re attacking me. Can you explain? Are you attributing someone else’s post to me??
My sole contribution to this thread (other than reacting to your unhinged barbs) is post #2: “Indelible in the hippocampus is the crazy” a sarcastic bon mot directed AT Blasey Ford and alluding to her bizarro statement, “Indelible in the hippocampus is the laughter.”
Attacking you? I am attacking FORD. I do not know what you are talking about.
The “crazy” are those who believed her, and they almost destroyed him. The left.
Well, I think BOTH of you suck. What the hell is wrong with you two?
Like who cares Christine? Nobody cares and re-writing your “story” in a book that nobody will spend their scarce money on is hilarious.
These old leftist Karens have a hard time understanding that they need to stay where they belong. In the pasture.
She’s resurfaced as she wants what the other fraudster E Jean Carol was awarded $83 million
he knows more than i do about it
he was there, so he must have known the address.
wait, wut???
