In a legal drama that seems straight out of a suspense thriller, Judge Cannon has given the nod to two amicus briefs filed by Trump’s legal team in the ongoing classified documents case. This unexpected turn of events injects fresh energy into an already intense legal battle.
One of the amicus briefs takes a hard look at the foundation, questioning the integrity of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) referral process. The spotlight shifts to potential flaws in how classified documents found their way into the hands of legal authorities, urging a meticulous examination of the referral process.

Ye old....One more thing...
Dems will go nuts...
“ Dems will go nuts...”
It’s over. It cost Trump 1/2 Billion to end the charade.
Trump will get backing from Musk.
There are serious problems with the laws Smith is trying to abuse to get Trump Trump.
Espionage Laws are intentionally vague to give the greatest latitude in prosecuting spies. This means they are subject to abuse and are probably unconstitutional.
Smith is betting that Cannon does not have the will to reign in the espionage laws due to national security concerns.
However, Jack Smith's appointment was part of the Biden Administration's unlawful lawfare strategy and Jack Smith himself was explicitly illegally appointed to the role of Special Prosecutor for the simple reason to get trump.
Judge Cannon could easily rule that Jack Smith's appointment was illegal and thus invalidate his prosecutions of Trump and put a stop to his lawfare games in Florida and probably in DC as well.
This Florida Classified Documents case a total scam and set up manufactured by the Biden Administration and it would be poetic justice if it puts an end to the Biden Administrations lawfare by invalidating Jack Smith's entire standing to act as Special Prosecutor on solid constitutional grounds
I suspect that she will do something along these lines- especially after the Fani Willis exposee in Georgia is hurting public opinion on the validity of these prosecutions.
It's over. It cost Trump 1/2 Billion to end the charade.
Trump may have just made 4 billion bucks on Truth Social so he may actually turn a profit on this.
Billionaires are different than the rest of us and several have spent half a billion (adjusted for inflation) to win a yacht race with no prize money.
The USA has at least one honorable judge dealing with the DOJs political persecution of President Trump. Thank you Marco Rubio for recommending this Colombian born, Miami raised judge and thanks to President Trump for nominating her and the Senate for confirming her.
Senate confirmation votes, for reference:

You know she has to be a clean judge, or our corrupt DOJ would have been able to undermine her already.
The same NARA that refused to do anything with them prior to him leaving but then triggered this? That NARA?
In my opinion...Any classified papers in those boxes was "declassified" by the fact that they were in his possession "AS PRESIDENT". He could have put them on the web if he wished. He had the authority.
Judge Cannon needs to dismiss this case with extreme prejudice.
If Fani is disqualified, then the entire Fulton County DA office is disqualified if the law is followed.
This is probably the best that can be hoped for under the circumstances.
Spent a good bit of time in Atlanta back in the day and it was a great place. Looks like it has fallen a bit since then.
Oops, wrong case.
My Bad.
Thinking that Cannon may just disqualify Smith which will automatically dismiss not just the case, but all the work done so far.
It is actually what the law requires.
