After all the problems regarding Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her former paramour, whom she appointed to be a special prosecutor in the Trump election case, you knew that they were going to be in trouble.
Now, they have been referred by a watchdog group to the Georgia state bar for misconduct.
The American Accountability Foundation (AAF) is alleging that the pair violated the rules of professional conduct in ethics complaints they filed with the bar. The AAF claims Wade lied under oath about the relationship with Willis and that Willis kept campaign money for personal use, and admitted it during her testimony. The Foundation is asking that the bar take action against both Willis and Wade to permanently ban them from the practice of law.
The Foundation was upset about this part of Willis' testimony that we reported on, and thought it needed more investigation.

"Cash is fungible. I’ve had cash for years in my house. So for me to tell you the source of where it comes from ... when you go to Publix and you buy something and you get fifty dollars and you throw it in there. It’s been my whole life. When I took out a large amount of money during my first campaign, I kept some of the cash of that."
The AAF says that's a violation of Georgia campaign finance law, "Nothing in this Code section shall permit or authorize a candidate to utilize campaign funds for the purpose of making gifts, loans, or investments directly to: (A) The candidate…" The complaint document continues:
The statute is unambiguous – and the facts are not in dispute – as Ms. Willis described in her testimony, she placed the money that was intended for her campaign into a "fungible" slush fund with other moneys that she would use for various other purposes, including reimbursing her boyfriend for leisure travel.
The AAF claims that Wade lied in response to the interrogatories in his divorce case, claiming he hadn't slept with anyone else during his marriage. The complaint states:
First it is simply not credible that Mr. Wade did not know that he had sexual relations with Ms. Willis when he replied to the interrogatories above in his divorce case. Put simply, it is clear Mr. Wade knew that he had had sex with Ms. Willis, and he knew that at the time he was still married, and he simply lied in the interrogatories.
I think that's likely just the opening salvo of complaints and that we're going to see more, because those didn't even get into some of the other alleged lies and issues that have since come out in the disqualification hearing. As I previously reported, the Georgia state Senate is also looking into the matter. Grab the popcorn, because I expect there will be more complaints coming.

I keep thinking about this song when I hear about these two:
I can’t keep up with what’s been going down
I think my heart must just be slowing down
Among the human beings, in their designer jeans
Am I the only one who hears the screams?
And the strangled cries of lawyers in love

Trump talks about Fani Willis and her booty calls to Nathan Wade

Something I did not note; Candace Owens pointed out that Willis reverted to speaking in ebonics when testifying when her professional speaking voice was english.
How many people can she PAY OFF to make her the next Queen of the Kingdom?
My suggestion is a comprehensive analysis of all communication devices of Ms. Willis, Mr. Wade. and anyone involved in this case for the DA’s office. I would want to see the degree to which they communicated with the White House the DNC, and Democratic operatives. My guess is that someone floated a DOJ job or a court appointment for Willis and she then agreed to do their bidding.
The bar complaint is a nice touch, it is a taste of the medicine that the Democrats have been using on Trump’s lawyers, and it looks to have come around after going around. Republicans do not have an instinct for law-fare, but they need to develop a taste for it - it’s the only way to combat this crap, using the enemies tactics.

Anti-Trumpers Kemp,’Ratenburger and the Ga. AG are NOT going to stop the Trump persecution.
Those lyrics dovetail right along with this unraveling soap opera. I was thinking along the lines of “Bonnie & Clyde”, repurposed for the names “Fani & Nathan”.
I don’t expect this version to end up in a shoot out.
Nathan is going to turn on Fani first.”She treated me like an old piece of meat!”
This complaint and potential investigation sounds racist.
(Get in before the rush)
Fani knows D that good isn’t cheap. Wade is a walking condome dispenser. What useless people.
Fat fanny was feeling bullet proof to put her boyfriend on the payroll. The Trump curse strikes again.

OK so years ago when I paid for groceries by check I would increase the amount by maybe $20 so I could have some cash back...
However Big Fanny doesnt have a checking account...
Public gives her $50 (or any amount)...why ???
She “throws it in there”...yes I do that with coins I receive in change ...
but I know where the dollar bills came from...Usually the bank..
Fanny doesnt have a checking account so where does does the currency to make ‘it’ come from...
Self preservation may force them to act against Willis & Wade.
She might be parsing her words by saying that it's not a "checking account" because it is a brokerage account with check-writing privileges.
Just a thought...

She has to have some kind of account that she can pay her bills, etc. Maybe she has a debit card and doesn’t write checks with it so it is not a checking account in her mind.
I am not buying her explanation anyway...
Most businesses would not allow that kind of commingling of expenses to be on their books. Using a business account as a passthrough account artificially increases the cash flow of the business, distorts the numbers, and makes auditing unnecessarily difficult.
I don't buy it, either.

One of the attorneys made the point....So Fani did not receive benefits cuz she paid them back. But...until she paid it back, it would have been a gift and should have been declared on her paper work...but that didn't happen...again and again and again.
The judge has to write this up just right.
Her best friend had no reason to lie. And she had a security detail....and the use of the phone pings is the same system that the prosecutors use all the time.
The attorneys made two similar points:
1. Willis said Wade would buy dinner one night and she'd pick up the tab on another night. In her mind, they canceled each other out.
2. The attorney said suppose I give the judge a Christmas present and then the judge gives me a Christmas present, too. Do the presents cancel each other out so that nobody got a Christmas present they have to report?
The conclusion the lawyer was drawing is that they were both gifts that had to be reported, the dinner she received (and in some places, the dinner that she paid for), and any other gifts she may have received (like cruise and airline tickets).
