The likelihood of former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard becoming Donald Trump's running mate is rising by the day.
In an interview with Jesse Watters over on Fox, Gabbard made no secret of her willingness to serve as Trump's vice presidential nominee if she was asked.
"You're being considered for a VP slot, is that something you are open to?" Watters asked during "Jesse Watters Primetime."
"I would be open to that," she responded. "My mission is to serve our country. I want to be in a position to solve problems."

Gabbard, who is regarded as somewhat of a political maverick, has long been touted as a potential running mate for Trump or as a third-party candidate.
In October 2022, she announced she was leaving the Democratic Party, describing it as an "elitist cabal of warmongers who are driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoking anti-white racism who actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms that are enshrined in our Constitution."
In February, The Hill revealed that Gabbard would headline a fundraiser for Trump later this month at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
They reported at the time:
According to an invitation shared exclusively with The Hill, Gabbard is set to be the keynote speaker at the 917 Society’s annual fundraiser on March 7 for a night in Palm Beach “celebrating the Constitution.”
The event comes after Trump, the current front-runner for the Republican nomination, acknowledged Gabbard is under consideration to be his vice presidential choice among several other contenders.
Dinner for the event costs $1,250, according to the invite.
Trump himself has confirmed that he would be open to choosing Gabbard, telling Laura Ingraham during a Fox News town hall in February that she and Vivek Ramaswamy, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem would all be possible candidates.

“Honestly all of those people are good,” Trump, 77, told Ingraham. “They’re all good, they’re all solid.”
When attendees at the largely pro-Trump Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Maryland in February were surveyed about who they would choose as his VP, Gabbard came in second place.

Although Gabbard's chances of being chosen appear more likely by the day, her choice would still be unconventional. As a former Democrat, she previously endorsed the candidacies of both Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, and holds left-wing positions on everything from abortion and the environment to drug policy and LGBT rights.
As I’ve noted before, Tulsi’s history may not be with us, but she sure as hell will DECAPITATE the Deep State (Neocons), should she get into power. She understands this bunch, and wants them GONE.
No duh. All politicians are born grifters like ambulance chasers.
She would have to drop her support of an assault weapon ban, if she hasn’t already.
She will do what she has to do.
The plot thickens.
She would definitely make an interesting Vice President.
Please no.
Trump said he’s already made his pick. Not sure why he’s waiting. Maybe just wants to make sure that his pick won’t damage his changes.
I think Trump could pick Mickey Mouse as his VP and it wouldn’t hurt him.
However, IMO, the future of America may very well depend on Trump picking the right guy to carry the MAGA torch in 2028 and beyond.
No candidate will please everyone.
Let Trump make his choice, please - then get behind it.
The only woman I would have ever considered was Jean Kirkpatrick.
I'm 80.
Haven't seen anyone who is even close since.
She talks a lot, but what conservative things has she done??
* She endorsed Joe Biden in 2020
* She tried to usher in Universal Basic Income
* She has called for banning AR-15s
* Favors Reparations
* No fossil fuels
* No nuclear energy
* Pro Medicare for all
* No electoral college
* Citizenship for “dreamers”
* pro abortion
* “I could not in good conscience vote against impeachment b/c I believe President Trump is guilty of wrongdoing” - Tulsi Gabbard
* This is who she truly is - a Democrat
A reminder to all!
Tulsi Gabbard is not a natural born Citizen thus not eligible to meet the requirement of Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5. She was not born in the United States.
Sorry a big NO to her and frankly any woman. Not even Kari Lake although IMO she would be the best. I am hoping for General Flynn, someone who could step right in and know what to do.
No, no. Mickey Mouse has strong ties to Disney.
As far as I’m concerned, if she can stop the Neocons from starting World War 3, anything else she does on our side (if anything) is icing on the cake.
I believe born in a US territory qualifies. I could be wrong.
Trump makes the call.
She would have made an excellent VP and most likely a fine president.
No thanks.
When Goldwater was born Arizona was still a territory.
That would be a stupid move, Donald. Do not pick her.
