It is almost midnight, but at this stage most of the population doesn’t even care about the endless procession of babies that are having their lives snuffed out at our abortion mills. Terms such as “massacre”, “slaughter’ and “genocide” are not nearly strong enough to describe what is taking place on a daily basis, and the vast majority of us seem to think that there will never be any serious consequences for what we are doing. But the truth is that we shall surely reap what we have sown.
I knew that the number of abortions that happen worldwide each year was very high, but I didn’t know that it was this high.
According to the official website of the World Health Organization, there are approximately 73 million abortions globally each year…
Around 73 million induced abortions take place worldwide each year. Six out of 10 (61%) of all unintended pregnancies, and 3 out of 10 (29%) of all pregnancies, end in induced abortion (1).
Comprehensive abortion care is included in the list of essential health care services published by WHO in 2020. Abortion is a simple health care intervention that can be effectively managed by a wide range of health workers using medication or a surgical procedure.

The Slaughter of the Innocents.
This hit me hard.. Dear Lord please forgive us and let us see your mercy and grace.
And even more unjustifiable is to kill a child resulting from your choice to engage in a behavior which most naturally produces offspring.
And 98% of abortions are due to reasons other than rape, incest:
And a study of approx. 64,000 out of 3,664,000 births in 2021 found that only 1.7% may be due to ectopic pregnancies, and with a total of approx 4% being due to health reasons:
"Risk to the woman’s life or a major bodily function: 0.2%[6] Other physical health concerns: 2.5%[7] Abnormality in the unborn baby: 1.3%[8] - Fact Sheet: Reasons for Abortion - Lozier Institute (and accommodating doctors can use "Other physical health concerns" liberally).
So in order to justify the “pro-choice” position - which is denying the subject of extermination any choice in the matter, and is contrary to the normal course of nature - then one must deny that what is inside the womb is a human person (unless pro-choice promoters are willing to be classed as murderers, which they are).
And thus the pro anti-infant choice promoter must justify their basis for determining that.
Will it be the ability to function on its own, though it rather shortly will be able to? If so, then you had best not be laid up for a while if needing life-sustaining support.
And of course, most aged in nursing homes could thus be turned into sources of protein.
Will it be based upon location, meaning outside the womb killing the infant would be murder, but before that it is open game?
Or will the unborn human life be valued at least as much as protected migratory birds are, for due to the procreating nature of the egg of a protected migratory bird and the value placed upon it, then crushing the life of such is outlawed.
The fact is that, as a 1.6 birth rate testifies, children overall are increasingly not desired nor seen as needed, or at least not if they require much sacrifice, while typically spoiling the one or maybe two children parents have on average, and with children being often replaced by pets, which are seen as more worthy of care and cost. Meanwhile, fornication costs the country greatly.
The figure is MUCH MUCH higher. This number is Not counting chemical abortifacients, otherwise known as “contraceptives” and “the pill”. Many pills allow conception ( a person is a person no matter how small!) but prevent implantation. The number of females worldwide on these pills is staggering. In the pews on Sundays in the US two out of three fertile women are contracepting. Lord help us!
All these babies could be adopted.
Concur, Lord have mercy on us.
“suffer the children to come unto me.”
When I think of the magnitude of the evil upon us ...I am over whelmed...
the day will come
Amen!
Yes, sadly.
Which one of those was the Messiah? Not even God was prepared for this kind of randomness and depravity.
Maybe God killed the messiah in Egypt when he killed all the first born sons?
I saw a bumper sticker to the effect of *It’s easy to be pro-abortion (or pro-choice, I don’t remember which) when you’re not the one being killed.*
Seriously? God not prepared>
Like He didn't see it coming or something?
Since when is the Messiah supposed to be Egyptian and not Jewish?
God didn’t kill the firstborn of the Israelites for one thing.
Another is that He simply gave Egypt a taste of its own medicine and brought its own sin against others back on its head. It was pharaoh who first ordered the slaughter of the make Jewish babies.
"When they came for the Christians, I said nothing because I was not really one."
Maybe you are as ignorant as this comment seems to indicate.
First, if you are going to attack the God of the Bible, then you must argue on basis of what it teaches as regards God.
Second, being the omniscient, omnipotent Giver of life (and every good thing), then He would certainly know all the who and what of every life.
Third, being the only Being who alone knows what all the effects will be of every action, not only in the immediate sense but their extended ripple effects in scope and degree, and effects of those effects, not only in the present but in all generations but for eternity,
and who can make all to ultimately work out for what is Good, with both proportionate justice as well as mercy and grace, and in which light He makes all His decisions,
then unlike man, God has the sole right to take life, aside from moral circumstances that He establishes for man to follow.
As for us, as exceedingly finite, fallible and often failing creature as specks in humanity and the universe and in time, we are in no position sit in judgment upon any omniscient, omnipotent being, and to do so is to presumes omniscient.
Thus, while miscarriages are frequent, as God knows and allows in the light of His attributes and justifiable purposes, these cannot justify man taking such innocent human life (aside from actually being needed to save the physical life of the mother, cf. Deuteronomy 22:6), or valuing it less than the egg of migratory birds.
