Lobbying is allowed. Some of your biggest and most influence lobbying groups have them on their payroll, i.e. Podesta Group.

They have their media (as in state controlled communist party) available in the US.

They can share unfavorable Intel about someone’s opponent to the folks they like. And they have a huge Intel capability in the US.

They can influence the media and they have a strong influence in the US media already.

***US Congress is for sale, and China (PRC) has learned how to buy those key folks (you don’t need to buy many usually, just a few key players) to get what they want.

***In the US you have a strong desire by the oligarchs and corporations which benefit from their cheap slave labor, avoidance of EPA and safety stands, as well as taxes to keep the status quo. Any politician that disrupts these very favorable conditions reaps their wrath, i.e. Trump and him pressuring China regards currency games, IP theft, and unfair business practices. You’ll find that big tech, Amazon, GM, pharma... They will all frown on anything which disrupts this.

It’s questionable that there will ever be a conflict with China (PRC) since they can literally get anything they want from us. Another tactic is to simply wait it out. Realize the US Congress and the President are always changing out. If Trump doesn’t suit you, just wait, the next guy Biden will.

That’s why Taiwan will go back to China eventually, they are taking over form the inside out. And we won’t do jack $hit, except talk about democracy, sovereignty and human rights regards Ukraine.

Think of this: while Chinese tank were rolling over pro democracy students on Tianamen square, we (including today’s McConnell that talks about democracy human rights and sovereignty regards Ukraine), voted for permanent most favored trade status and prior to that supported WTO membership.

This is a uni-party issue where it won’t matter who is in office, since BOTH parties and their key members are bought off.
