12 Absolutely Insane Examples That Show Just How Far The U.S. Has Fallen
End of The American Dream ^ | 2/5/24 | Michael Snyder

When I was young, I often wondered what it must have been like to live during the fall of the Roman Empire. Unfortunately, now I have a pretty good idea. Just like the Roman Empire, the United States is falling. Every day our decline gets even more pronounced, and you can see evidence of this all around us. Virtually all of our major institutions are crumbling, and virtually all of our most critical systems are failing. We tend to blame our problems on our politicians, but the truth is that the rot that is rapidly spreading throughout our society runs a lot deeper than that. Millions upon millions of us have completely rejected the values that this nation was founded upon, and so now we have a giant mess on our hands. The following are 12 absolutely insane examples that show just how far the U.S. has fallen…

#1 A social media influencer that returned a couch to Costco after using it for more than two years is telling her followers to buy all of their furniture from Costco because “you can return it when you don’t like it anymore”…

(snip)

#2 The U.S. Navy is having a really difficult time recruiting young people, and so they have decided that a radical new approach is needed. From now on, a high school diploma will no longer be necessary…

(snip)

#3 Three years ago, the city of Portland decriminalized the possession of all drugs. Let’s check in and see how that is working out…

(snip)

#4 Western Oregon University has found a way to keep students from failing. D- and F grades will no longer be earned by anyone because they are being abolished…

I remember a TV commercial like that in the 60s/70s

When I was young I wondered what it was like to live in Russia with no free press, a corrupt judicial system with political prisoners and the KGB.

” Show me 12 pictures from the 1950s of ANY city in the country - yes, even black areas of cities as they were CIVILIZED back then. Now you need to go to Tokyo, Moscow, or Singapore to find similar cities. “

The civilized Asian cities shows that it is not Social Media, SSRis, dope, fentanyl or whatever other excuses they make.

You could give everyone in Tokyo a gun, and it wouldn’t be like Atlanta.

Thirty years to go from Global Dominance to Globe-leading decadence.

I don’t think there is another historic example where the fall was so fast.

So many times that thought goes through my head.
Like a punch in the gut.

On the bright side, Demonrats have rendered Russia/China/Iran’s strategic nuclear weapons completely counter-productive.

Unfortunately true.

The nation appears to be under judgment.

I am NOT happy about that.

But it seems inescapable.

We’ve reached a critical stage of “afflueza”.

It’s the disease that causes people to no longer appreciate how well they have it, and more importantly what produced it and who.

The good news is that it contains its own cure. It destroys who and what people no longer appreciate.

The bad news, is that the cure is quite painful.

The ancient Romans know all about it.

Certain people who can’t or won’t do anything right but get elected anyway who are causing most of our problems, but then they are being elected by others just as capable of making the same poor selections. I’m beginning to wonder if we had all good, well meaning people running for office...would we still manage to get the losers?

I think we’re in the proto-Weimar republic stage.

The government is leftist, printing out money, devaluing it, and borrowing currency it will soon have no means of repaying, deviancy is being normalized, more abortions are performed than live births, and people are being pushed to either ends of the political spectrum.

As Yeats said “The center cannot hold*
And..

"I suggest we all read the article, though heartbreaking it may be."

This 👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆 👀

It is horrible to read.

But also, one part I disagree with: Where the author claims we are "so divided".

IMO that is not true.

I believe the majority of people are completely fed up with the madness.

But, a small percentage of those in power, actually want it this way, because these are criminals, who benefit directly from the chaos (being paid off exc...).

The rest are either greedy, stupid, lazy, or morally bankrupt, and just do not care that the USA is being systematically destroyed.

Donald Trump is the only chance we have to restore our Constitutional Republic.

Why isn't the GOP FULLY backing him?

God help us 🙏

Without a direct Word of Knowledge (and yes, they are real) from the Lord, I simply can’t declare “Thus sayeth the Lord”.

So I downgraded my statement.

It’s rather obvious that no other reasonable conclusion can be made, though it may well apply to the whole world, and not just America. And I believe that’s true as well.

The “world leaders” don’t “get it” and no doubt mock and scoff.

Which means even worse things are coming.

An interesting observation by W.B. Yeats though it may not be accurate regarding his birth. That being said, the hour does draw near (if he's not already here - which I think he may well be.

I agree - the world needs to heed the Word of the Lord regarding the coming 'Peace and Security" - it CANNOT be a coincidence that it matches Scripture to the word. And in regards to dividing Israel for "peace" which is exactly what was foretold in Daniel 9:27, Joel 3:2.

Reverend Wright :" Thirty years to go from Global Dominance to Globe-leading decadence.

Rush was right about defending democracy
We have, as a nation, accepted mediocrity instead of meritocracy, accuracy, and excellence.
That is true of everything all the way from the educational system through to our government leaders and commitment to the good of the nation .
We have learned as a nation to accept laziness and sloth, instead of excellence and accuracy.
