Here is another browser option.

I just started using it. It's a very simple design, easy to use. Unlike other browsers, it isn't loaded with bloatware and you aren't overwhelmed by options.

Try or don't try. Use or don't use.

It’s a good alternative to Google.

What is it developed upon?

It is one thing to be simple, I like that.

It is another thing to be secure.

It is another thing to not collect all your data and sell it.

I am sick of all this monitoring crap, This is how we quickly become Slaves.

The DDG browser has only been around a couple years.

I stopped using it after it was found out they were intentionally hiding pro Trump items. Anything they deemed to be “misinformation”, so I dumped them.

It has been my primary browser on my Windows laptop for at least half a dozen years. Recommended.

Brave browser is also worth checking out.

I do no casual surfing on Chrome.

“The DDG browser has only been around a couple years.”

2008. 15-16 years.

DDG search was filtering/censoring.

Brave browser has been good.

I started using the Brave search engine after reading this thread on Free Republic from 2022:

Need a new search engine as "Duck Duck Go" is now going woke---limiting searches of "misinformation"

All these browsers (including DDG) seem to know roughly where I am. So I get side ads about local car dealerships, local restaurants, etc.

I don’t mind ads all that much. They pay the bills. I do mind that everyone seems to know my rough location. And it does bother me that DDG is evidently in on it, like all the rest.
