The migration landscape in Denver is undergoing a significant transformation, with nearly 40,000 migrants arriving in the city over the past year. This influx has made Denver the top destination per capita for migrants crossing the U.S. southern border and heading north in buses from Texas. However, the surge is not without its challenges, as the city grapples with the strain on its public safety net.
Beginning February 5, Denver will implement measures to limit the number of days migrants can stay in shelters, and those exceeding their stay will be directed out onto the streets. The impact is already evident, with one Venezuelan family sharing their eviction notice from a city-paid hotel, highlighting the pressure on available accommodations.

Oh my a liberal city is overrun.
They came here illegally with no plan other than handouts.
I guess life can be cruel, but my give a darn is all used up.
Embrace the Suck, Denver. You voted for it,
Sounds like the good folks of Denver need a new “sanctuary city” tax to pay for their benevolence.
Pot smokers, druggies and homeless people strewn everywhere and now they are demanding to add in 40,000 people from savage countries, muslim countries and other countries where every single one of them most likely will NEVER assimilate and all citizens are on the hook FOREVER for their money, housing and medical costs.
Noice.
Send them to Ukraine.
Maybe if they stopped smoking pot they’d be less hungry?
“They came here illegally with no plan other than handouts.”
Yep, this isn’t 1890, and they have no “cousin Enzo” that they figured would help them out if only they could get here.
Denver voters sanctuaried themselves into this mess; now let them tax themselves out of it.
Excellent news!
Many aren’t just illiterate, they speak language that has no written form like one of the Central American Indian languages.
As the US gets flooded by potential Democrat voters, legal US citizens who at one point likely paid taxes are finding it harder and harder to get help since all the charitable organizations are getting overwhelmed.
One of my relatives helps out at a ministry that helps with food and clothing for the poor. They are getting over run.
But, that’s also not a news worthy story since it would not fit into a pro-Democrat, pro-open border, pro-Biden narrative.
Here in Dallas, probably 50% of those getting aid are illegal. They don’t ask, and they want to make sure people keep their dignity even as they get help (noble), but it’s obvious. Most of these people can’t speak English, they are shacking up 3 families in a single family home (safety issue) and almost never have health insurance, relying on various government, state, and charitable assistance to help them.
I feel sorry for these people, I really do. Who does not want to better their families situation?
Yet this is starting to become a problem where especially on the charitable organization side, the assistance available is dwindling because it’s spread over more and more people. Government don’t care. They just make a decree and spend tax money, forcing everyone to pay for their ideas essentially at gun-point (IRS). But the charities are a different story, they rely on donations and what is available.
Here is a plan, go home.
That’s about the population when I lived in Simi Valley, Pre Rodney King. After Rodney King the city damn near doubled in size.
The Humanitarian Crisis the New World Order has been waiting for.
but but but... Aztlán!!!

Wonder if the death rate has increased in Denver due to diseases yet?.
Well, I ran into one the other day in my town, and he was at least smart enough to figure out how to ask me for a light with hand signals.
