Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

“Sounds like they tried to launch their muskovite internet service and it shockingly did not work”

I wonder how much was their own incompetence, and how much was sabotage?

Good question, combination of both or just coincidental actions.
WTS, launching an ambitious technical operation like starting up a national internet service would likely come with many “glitches “. We have all experienced the problems that come with upgrades and patches to existing systems and programs. A whole new system of this size and complexity would surely have issues.
Is it salvageable is the question
Remained me of their much vaunted new communication system for the military that has not been realized, corruption is always part of the mix

Sources say that the “Nevsky Mazut” gas storage in Sankt Petersburg, Russia, has been targeted. A substantial explosion can be seen in this footage.

The fact that a drone not only penetrated the perimeter of the Russian air defense but also hit a target close to a center of Russia’s most important cities, speaks for itself.

Gerasimov wants to abandon offensives at the front

Three sources in the General Staff claim that Valery Gerasimov came to the conclusion that our army needs to temporarily stop advancing after analyzing the situation with the assault on Avdiivka.

“Near Avdiivka we are now losing 150-200 people a day in killed people alone. About a hundred more are in the Kupyansky direction. And there are other difficult sections of the front. It is clear that we cannot refuse to take Avdiivka. But no one understands how to move on from such a battered army,” says one of our interlocutors.

According to another, Gerasimov is now preparing a proposal to the president: to take Avdiivka and go on the defensive for at least 4-6 months. And after that, having regained strength, set serious goals for the army.

“Right now we can’t even get small victories, everyone can see it. The army is tired. If we regain our strength, then it will be possible to set serious tasks. Kharkov, Odessa, Kherson, Dnepropetrovsk, maybe even Kyiv. But first we need to rest,” a general close to Gerasimov told us.

He emphasized that everything said is just the plans of the Chief of the General Staff. He has not yet discussed them with Vladimir Putin.

Iran does not want Trump to come to the White House. They ask the Kremlin to “influence”

Iranian authorities fear that if US President Donald Trump wins the election, the situation in the Middle East region could worsen for them. This is stated in the letter, which was transmitted through unofficial channels from Tehran to Moscow.

In particular, Iran asks Vladimir Putin to influence the situation with the American elections “to the extent possible.”

Indeed, Trump has made numerous threats to Iran during his Presidency, including regarding Tehran’s nuclear program. It was also Trump who gave the order to kill Iranian General Soleimani. Compared to him, the suspicious Biden looks much more convenient for Iran.

At the same time, Tehran hints that assistance in resolving the issue with the US elections could affect the volume of military-technical cooperation between Iran and Russia.

The letter looks frankly strange, because the delegations of Iran and Russia often visit each other, but it is obvious that this time it is an attempt to convey important ideas separately to Vladimir Putin.

It’s no secret that Putin is betting on Trump. At the same time, it is also known that Russia is closely involved in cooperation with Iran in terms of weapons. I wonder what the President’s reaction will be.

MISS & HIT: At 0420 (Local) a UKR drone carried out an attack on the Nevsky Mazut oil refinery in the Russian city of St. Petersburg. RU claims an S-400 anti-aircraft missile system 'intercepted' the drone, never-the-less, it "crashed' into the refinery.

https://twitter.com/ChuckPfarrer/status/1752711092764106789

So, RU is firing S-400 missiles at drones.

Costly, inefficient and ineffective.

Air defense did their job.

So Trump who gave military assistance to Ukraine, told Europe not to be dependent on Russia for oil…., and told NATO to live up to their spending agreements and Putin wants this guy?
One could interpret end in 24 hours any ways.

Could also be that Trump could signal no more messing around, get out or we send everything. We will see

There is the campaign and then there is being in power and responsible

Remember it was zalinsky who allowed for the release of the transcript which blew shiftys version out of the water, they impeached anyways but hey that was political, 51% of the vote, pure optics. Senates not ever going to vote to remove.
A bit like xiden saying if they pass the vote he will shut down the border.

I have heard rumors about Zaluzny for the past 2 years regarding his supposed ties to shady corrupt Odesa businessmen and politicians. I wonder what’s really going on.

“Could also be that Trump could signal no more messing around, get out or we send everything.”

Reportedly, in Trump’s first meeting with Putin as President, Trump warned him against invading Ukraine, sayin that those beautiful golden domes in Moscow would be gone if he did. Reportedly, Putin was rattled by Trump’s confidence in saying that.

Weakness invites aggression, and that may have been just what Putin saw with Biden and Scholz.

By the time Trump is inaugurated, Russia will be on very thin ice militarily and economically - vulnerable to a hard deal. Trump knows the art of the deal, and can drive hard ones.

The Russian invasion to take Kyiv failed. Their attempt to use energy blackmail against Europe failed (spectacularly). Their attempt to blockade Ukrainian grain failed (they export more now than before the war). Their attempt to cripple Ukraine’s energy infrastructure failed.

If Russia had some silver bullet, they would have used it by now. Increasingly over time, all they have is more bodies to sacrifice. Average daily losses continue to climb for Russia, and seem likely to continue rising. The UK MoD estimated that the average daily casualty rate for Russia climbed about 300 higher (from~500 to ~800) over the course of 2023.

Russia will be in no position to take on a significant escalation next year, and Trump (and everyone else) will know it. Putin will have to take whatever he can get from Trump, to salvage whatever he can from the quagmire in which he is trapped.

GLSDBs (90 mile range?) might hit Dzhankoi, but for the targets further South, they might have to be sea launched (maybe a new naval drone variant?).
