Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Summarizing this war:

A tragedy for Ukraine.
A disaster for RuZZia.
A strategic win for the USA.

“Why Internet Trolls Do What They Do and How to Spot Russian Fakes”

“Here is the best-kept secret about U.S. military aid to Ukraine: Most of the money is being spent here in the United States. That’s right: Funds that lawmakers approve to arm Ukraine are not going directly to Ukraine but being used stateside to build new weapons or to replace weapons sent to replace weapons sent to Kyiv from U.S. stockpiles. Of the $68 billion in military and related assistance Congress has approved since Russia invaded Ukraine, almost 90 percent is going to Americans, one analysis found.”

Little Brother, where art thou?

“The massive Power of Siberia-2 pipeline to China that Russia hopes will replace the European gas export market is delayed, … reports. China doesn’t need the gas as much and Russia is desperate, cementing its little brother role”

“Russia’s planned gas mega-pipeline to China hit by construction delay”

“Moscow and Beijing have not yet agreed details of mammoth infrastructure project, says Mongolian prime minister“

“Construction on the Kremlin’s long-planned mega-pipeline connecting Russia’s western gasfields with China is expected to be delayed, the prime minister of Mongolia has warned, in a blow to Moscow’s plans to secure a new market for the gas it previously sold to Europe.

The so-called Power of Siberia 2 pipeline, which will cross Mongolian territory, has been a priority for Moscow for more than a decade but gained even greater importance since Europe curbed its imports of Russian gas in response to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

Mongolia’s prime minister Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene previously told the Financial Times that he expected construction of the 3,550km pipeline, including 950km through Mongolian territory, to begin in 2024. Asked whether the partners will stick to that timetable, he said that Russia and China are yet to agree on critical details of the mammoth infrastructure project.

“Those two sides still need more time to do more detailed research on the economic studies,” Oyun-Erdene said in an interview, adding that record global gas prices during the past two years had complicated negotiations. “The Chinese and Russian sides are still doing the calculations and estimations and they are working on the economic benefits.”

Russia’s deputy prime minister Alexander Novak wrote in the state-backed magazine Energy Policy on Thursday that the timing on construction will be finalised after signing binding agreements with Chinese partners.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping met at least twice last year, but while Russia has repeatedly emphasised its readiness to launch PS-2, Beijing has been conspicuously silent.”

⚡️The 🇨🇿 Czech Victor self-propelled anti-aircraft machine gun is in service with the Armed Forces of 🇺🇦 Ukraine

More information on the Victor.

Assuming the optics include night vision, the Victor would be very effective against iranian drones.

To think of the waste of Texas NG dealing with some local border issue, and just laying barbed wire which will be cut anyways, and the waste of some 30-odd states sending their NG (and razor wire) alongside those Texas NG.

Maybe we should be sending all that 30+ NG and barbed wire to Ukraine so that they can protect their border against your so-called “Ruzzians”. Wouldn’t that be great?

These Shahed-136/131 have been apparently downed mostly intact. Of it would be only one then it could be a malfunction but three separate events indicate the usage of electronic warfare. Especially the first pictures shows a trail behind the drone. It landed as softly as possible.

https://twitter.com/Tendar/status/1751239481737220190

Very interesting.

The warheads could be returned to the ruzzians by "Baba Yaga" octocopter drones.

Kyiv is preparing a “sweet” offer to Trump

The Ukrainian authorities are seriously preparing to fight with Russia for a long time. Despite the increasingly frequent and vocal conversations about the possibility of a truce between the parties to the conflict in the foreseeable future, Kiev, apparently, will continue to invest in its army and its defense. Even if Donald Trump wins the US elections.

Yes, many experts both in the West and in Russia are convinced that Trump’s second coming to the White House will radically change the balance of power and will greatly affect assistance to Kyiv from the United States.

This is not surprising, since the United States is Ukraine’s main ally and stopping or delaying arms supplies could seriously affect the combat capability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

As it turned out, Zelensky decided to seriously try on the image of a global geopolitician and began to build relationships not only with Democrats represented by Biden and others, but also with Republicans.

Obviously, there can be no talk of any personal contacts with Trump, but Kyiv is preparing a serious offer to the billionaire in the event that he wins the election or is the clear winner of the race even before the start of voting.

The proposals are being developed in coordination with prominent representatives of the US Republican Party. So far there is only a draft, but it is known that Kyiv is emphasizing the need to load US production capacities with orders to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This in turn will bring new jobs, orders to local manufacturers and increased taxes. There is also talk about the possibility of building joint ventures both in Ukraine and in third countries, using rare Ukrainian resources.

This includes lithium, which is used in the production of batteries for electric cars. The hint here is clear; this is an attempt to catch on with Tesla and Elon Musk, known for his scandalous antics and support for Trump.

In general, lobbyists are in full swing acquiring new contacts and so far they are carefully promising that if Trump wins, the United States will receive more benefits from supporting Ukraine than if it refuses.

Separately, Kyiv is holding consultations with European partners, discussing the need to increase NATO funding from EU countries. This is exactly what Trump spent a long time trying to achieve during his previous presidency. And yes, now the US lawyer is essentially Zelensky, who is asking for weapons and money not only for Ukraine, but also for the common European good and the protection of “Mother Europe”.

Of course, not everyone in Europe agrees with the proposal of the Ukrainian president, but the idea of increasing contributions to the NATO budget from Europeans is attractive, including to the current American leader. Zelensky essentially needs the support of Germany and France, and the rest, as they say, will catch up.

At the same time, Germany, as can be seen from Berlin’s latest steps, is determined to play a serious game. The Germans are ready not only to fill their defense industry to capacity with orders, but also to build new ones in western Ukraine.

At this rate, at least the spirit of revanchism on his grandfather’s side would not awaken in Scholz’s soul.

Russia's Leningrad region announced nighttime mobile Internet shutdowns until January 31st.

Following Pskov and Novgorod regions, 4G mobile Internet will be unavailable at night in Leningrad region. The authorities promise to limit the night Internet in these regions from January 25 to January 30. Operators explain the temporary lack of communication by reconfiguration of broadcasting frequencies, but their representatives refuse from detailed comments to journalists.

Most likely, the Internet blackouts are connected with the first attack of Ukrainian drones on Leningrad region since the beginning of the full-scale war. On January 18, 2024, UAVs attacked the St. Petersburg Oil Terminal, and on January 21 they successfully hit Novatek's terminal in the port of Ust-Luga. At the moment, St. Petersburg is the farthest point reached by the AFU drones. Earlier, ASTRA reported that residents of Leningrad region noticed the deployment of S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems in the region.

Translation of the SMS message:
"Please note: for reasons beyond Tele2's control, until 31.01.24, mobile Internet may not be available at night. Note also that the restrictions may negatively affect the operation of usual online services, ATMs and payment terminals."

Kremlin snuff box
https://t.me/s/kremlin_secrets

Is it true that the United States is persuading Kyiv to give up Russian-controlled territories?

Articles are increasingly appearing in the Western press about how Russia and the United States see a way out of the Ukrainian impasse.

In particular, The Washington Post writes that the United States is preparing a new strategy for Ukraine, which will not provide for the return of the DPR, LPR and Russian-controlled territories of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

In reality, everything is much more complicated than it seems. Firstly , the United States is in a state of imbalance due to the events around Texas. The Presidential election adds spice to this situation, since Moscow is actually openly betting on Trump, who will be the main rival of the current president.

Secondly , the US political position regarding Ukraine has not changed - the Americans understand that bleeding Russia at the hands of Ukrainians is not the worst idea.

Plus, for the Americans themselves it costs a pittance and does not cost the deaths of their citizens. In this regard, only an absolutely naive person can believe that the United States will refuse to support Ukraine.

At the same time, there is a point - not only the United States, but the West as a whole, is ready to consider a model for freezing the conflict in the current territories. Kyiv is against this, but the Russian side is also making a lot of efforts to disrupt these negotiations. In particular, pressure to take control of new territories could put even attempts at these agreements in jeopardy.

According to our information, Scholz and Biden plan to discuss assistance to Ukraine at their next meeting to maintain their current positions. And, logically, the size of this assistance depends on Russian pressure.

Sources hint that stabilizing the situation at the front can help reduce the flow of weapons to Ukraine, but increasing pressure and attempts to break through the front, on the contrary, will increase the likelihood of a revision of those same supplies.
