Horrible lead singer. Hard to buy their punk act early on, and impossible now. They’re not counter culture or going against the grain - they’re in lockstep with the current government and all the current social justice, social consciousness BS out there. They’re hardly cutting edge.
Bet most of the band now have kids, mortgages, and worry about their 401K and the violence in our country. They probably cheer on the D running for office, and pull the R level in the secrecy of the voting booth.

This anti-Trump stunt got them some needed PR and maybe some gigs by the hate Trump Liberal Left. A Bit like Kathy Griffiths Bloody head of Trump Stunt. Want PR—go anti Trump and you got a spot! It got DeNiro a place at the Oscars. Want to make a quick million—write a bad off Broadway Play titled “The Assassination of Trump” or “The madness of Donald Trump.” Better yet, a low budget Sci-Fi Movie, “The Beast of Mira Lago,” Plot: Donald Trump buys a curious artifact from Germany, an ornate vase, once belonged to Himmler. When he opens it, it contains the essence of Adolph Hitler! makes him a great speaker, popular, but a re-incarnate Hitler!!! A Chinese Cook and an Iranian Gardener must stop him before be takes over the Nation with his mind numb army of cultists and takes over the world!

There’s a difference between having a following and just getting air time. Music companies make a decision to push a band despite any popularity the band might garner. They create a following and hype it. The sheeples eat it up.
