The Great Clarification

“Time for The Great Uprising to defeat The Great Reset. This isn’t just an R vs. D question in 2023. It’s a 1776 moment.” —Vivek Ramaswamy.

I’m already liking 2024. Consequence is itching to return to the American scene. Somewhere around 2016, cause and effect got a divorce. After that, things just happened or unhappened with no further orders of effect, like some brute existence without purpose, meaning, or even awareness, except for the feeling of the lash on your back.

After a long journey through a dark place, treading ever-deeper into the unknown, knowing you are in the presence of demons from one footstep to the next, worrying incessantly that God has abandoned you. . . the alarm bell is ringing, the light is shining through, your eyes roll up like window-shades, and it’s time to get your mind right! Yes, even nations have bad dreams. Welcome to the Great Clarification.

We are waking to the stupefying criminality of public life, to the immersive obvious bullsh[--] of people in charge who don’t deserve your respect or compliance. How they got into these positions is only another feature of that totalistic criminality. What was hidden in plain sight will be revealed to those suffering mere hysterical blindness.

It was fitting that the last extravagant political act of ’23 was Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows chucking Mr. Trump off the ballot there because. . . she felt like it. To save our democracy, you understand. That might be the terminal absurdity of the derangement we are leaving behind, the signature for much that has gone down in this country the past three years: women on the verge of a nervous breakdown throwing the crockery of law around the room at Daddy.

All this accomplishes, of course, is to disgrace authority in general and to turn America into one big broken home, making us a population of frightened runaways clinging desperately to a few square feet of ground, alone under the freeway ramp in the rain. That is no way to live. The way to live is to make yourself useful to your fellow humans and to get paid for it, and to find some joy and meaning in that human fellowship based on fair, consensual transactions — a pretty simple formula that has been supplanted by the evil idea that life is nothing but a shakedown.

The election of 2024, whether it is actually allowed to happen or not, will probably commence the extinction of the DC blob. This entity has made itself malignantly inimical to the proper functioning of self-governing people, and everybody knows it. The blob will die of irrelevance and impotence as the “trust horizon” devolves downward and we are thrust back into the awesome task of reconstructing our local communities. There is so much to do.

I keep hearing figures in the public arena say they have a creepy feeling that something big is going to happen. Well, sure, something’s got to give. So much hyper-complexity has been heaped onto the apparatus of shakedown that just about nothing works in America anymore. The Internet is obviously a major part of that. We’ve allowed digital magic to invade every scrap of territory in our daily doings, to the degree that there is no longer enough for humans to do — but, alas, digital magic is only a pale simulacrum of real human magic. The virtual is not an adequate substitute for the authentic. Why do you think there are so many people barely alive in a haze of opiate drugs splayed on the sidewalks of San Francisco, the epicenter of Internet wealth and power?....

I don’t know. It seems like 80% of people don’t have a clue.

I would agree, many seemingly intelligent folk around me are sleep walking through what i would say is a turning point in history. Things are going to crash.

I guess I don’t have a clue as to how a democrat can take a republican off a republican primary ballot?

True, but maybe that’s ok. Not everyone needs to have a clue for things to turn in a better direction.

By that I mean most people are followers - maybe as much as 80%. If enough of the 20% who are leaders have a clue maybe that’s enough.

Using Covid nonsense as an example, I’ve been noticing that the fear mongering no longer seems to be working on the masses. I hear the same scattering of reports from the fake news and from family and acquaintances testing positive for Covid - yet no big rush to distance, mask up or even get tested. Why is that?

I don’t even hear politicians grandstanding to lock things down, or quacks like Fauci making dire warnings to flatten the curve or else.

My theory is that there are perhaps 10-15% of us who are opinion leaders and the other 85-90% are happy to follow. I’m not talking about experts - I’m talking about normal people who just have a certain personal power - people listen to them for whatever reason. In early 2020 EVERYONE was afraid of a pandemic -including the opinion leaders - because it was completely unknown - and that means the range of possibilities included a worst case scenario that was truly scary.

When opinion leaders say maybe it’s prudent to quarantine, distance, lock down and wear masks.

But after a month it was obvious (to me at least) that the worst case scenario wasn’t happening. For whatever reasons, the people in power wanted to keep the fear at a fever pitch as long as possible, and used all the tools at their disposal to do so including fake news, fake science and fake statistics.

Only a small % of independent thinkers - leaders not followers - noticed the disconnect between the fear mongering and the reality. Supposedly, Covid was thIs killer, but when you get it it’s exactly like a cold. WTF? Supposedly, Covid was killing tens of millions, but the overall death rate was staying normal - WTF? Obviously, they were calling normal deaths from all causes Covid deaths just to keep Covid scary.

But to this day, only a very small % of people know the whole Covid thing was a hoax. Most people still think it was real.

So why is the Covid fear-mongering not causing panic this time?

I think it’s because the 10-15% of us who are opinion leaders are not buying it this time.. so the 85-90% of followers are not afraid either.

Anyway, my point is that if enough of the opinion leaders get a clue, the followers don’t need to.

And if you bring this subject up with them, they either ignore the question, walkaway or get defensive. They truly have their heads in the sand as if that will take care of the problem. Fear or complacency is keeping them disengaged.

It only takes like five percent of us to shake things up.

The Great Clarification. I like it.

"So why is the Covid fear-mongering not causing panic this time?"

Because it's not quite close enough to election day.

Stay tuned...

Hehehe. Funny…. but I disagree. There’s no reason for them to wait - if they could be scaring people now they would.. it’s just not working.

One big difference is that a Democrat is in the White House instead of a Republican so they don’t want to shut down the economy. But I also think the smarter people know it was a hoax - they aren’t going to get fooled again - and the dumb followers look at the smart people not panicking and so they don’t panic either.

James it was a whole lot earlier than 2016. Lots of times in history cause and effect didn’t work properly.
