Bretton Woods II was built on “inside money” (U.S. dollars) dominating “outside money” (hard money, gold, uranium, oil, etc.).
Seizing Russia’s FX reserve balances in February 2022 marked the beginning of the end of Bretton Woods II.
The internationally illegal precedent of Victoria Nuland and Samantha Power’s confiscation of said FX reserves to Ukraine will be the end of the end of Bretton Woods II.

If the US takes this action, it should not come as a surprise, given the insanity of these people, it only makes sense they will violate any and all laws or precedents when it comes to Russia.

I am no fan of China, I think we should disengage from them as much as possible, if you were the Chinese Government, you will give very serious thought of the idea if the USA does that to Russia over Ukraine, they certainly will do that to us over Taiwan.

I would imagine within days after this starts up...Russian hackers will bring down the US banking system, and it won’t be a mild re-start affair.

You’re right, there is no end, up to and including kinetic war that is possible if the USA takes this action.
Maybe China ups lethality of the fentanyl they send into the USA, instead of killing 100,000 Americans, it kills everyone who takes it, maybe 400,000 to 500,000 people drop dead.
Cyber-attacks would almost assuredly happen.

Russia’s promised an ‘asymmetrical response’ to the seizing of this money. Hopefully for me and my family, they limit their response to the people directly doing this crap (as in the Neocons).
