Two things challenge this idea.
First, in August 2019, Former New York Fed President Bill Dudley wrote an opinion column for Bloomberg (www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2019-08-27/the-fed-shouldn-t-enable-donald-trump) where he insisted that the Fed allow the economy to suffer to prevent then-President Trump from getting re-elected in the 2020 election.

IOW, we don’t care what the American people want, we have other goals.
Traitor Roberts -
“We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges,” Mr. Roberts said . “What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them.””

Legal education is badly in need of reform.
quotation:
Perhaps the most frequent metaphor for the Federal Reserve’s role in managing the economy involves a punch bowl and a party. Although it is often paraphrased, the actual quote is “The Federal Reserve…is in the position of the chaperone who has ordered the punch bowl removed just when the party was really warming up.” In October 1955, Fed Chair William McChesney Martin, Jr. delivered a speech to the New York Group of the Investment Bankers Association of America. In that speech, Martin described the job of the Fed as one that requires precautionary action. He acknowledged that this precautionary action to prevent too much inflation was bound to have some onerous effects. The Fed does not expect businesses or consumers to be happy about its actions, but it is still the Fed’s job to be the adult in the room.

the “FED” is an anonymous group of private owners who in defiance of the plain text of our constitution counterfits our currency at interest plus species that was and is a debt trap from beggining to end.
as such it is the ultimate lever to dictate to and control both politics and culture.
spit.
That’s certainly the way it was supposed to work, but every institution is completely corrupted by power politics.
On paper. In practice it is pure evil beyond redemption.
I with Trump would appoint him as head of the FR...and have the biggest audit...EVER.
