No. Not at all. She was one of these twenty-something year olds who thought it would be “cool” to have a pet pig. I know of a few people who got them. They live on property out in the country, so they had the room. It was a case of being young and silly, but she learned quickly.
The pig was a few years old and it got nasty and kept escaping. She called my son-in-law to please come over and shoot the pig, as she couldn’t stand the thing any longer. So, no, she wasn’t melting down and beside herself over a pig, and she knows she was not thinking when she got the thing in the first place.
