It reads like an operation manual for our current situation
And even though we KNOW history, we are still condemned to repeat it.
Just last night I was talking with my wife about Gov. Lamm..... Yes, he really did say: “Old people have a duty to die!” His idea to fix the social security system.
A democrat, none the less.
Those of us who DO study history are doomed to stand by watching helplessly while the idiots in charge repeat it. *sigh*
Richard Douglas Lamm (August 3, 1935 – July 29, 2021) was an American politician, writer, and attorney. He served three terms as 38th Governor of Colorado as a Democrat (1975–1987) and ran for the Reform Party’s nomination for President of the United States in 1996. Lamm was a Certified Public Accountant and was the Co-Director of the Institute for Public Policy Studies at the University of Denver.
I heard the salad bowl metaphor in 1969. Probably older than that, though...
Lamm waa a piker compared with the socialists in charge today…all he did was talk and write garbage like this.
Dick Lamm was gentleman and was spot on with this piece. Way before his time, too.
BTTT!.......................
