Infowars reporter and War Room host Owen Shroyer was sentenced to 60 DAYS IN PRISON back in September in a DC kangaroo court for his actions on January 6, 2020 and before.
Owen stood outside the Capitol on January 6th and warned Trump supporters not to go inside the building.
Owen also frequently spoke out against the stolen 2020 election.
DOJ prosecutors sought prison time against Owen for his speech crimes and of course the DC Judge agreed.!
Judge Tim Kelly sentenced Owen to 60 DAYS IN PRISON in September!
Owen Shroyer pleaded guilty in June to a single Class A Misdemeanor of Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds on January 6, 2021.
He was initially charged in August 2021 — eight months after remaining outside the US Capitol on January 6 and warning Trump supporters not to enter the Capitol along with Alex Jones.
After nearly two years of fighting charges related to his presence outside the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, Owen made the decision to plead guilty to a lesser charge.

DOJ standard procedure is to threaten imprisonment forever unless the accused denounces Trump. AFAIK if they tried that on Shroyer that did not work. Maybe they released him early because Shroyer did not go into the Capitol and in fact warned others not to enter, or maybe because they are already overcrowded with DOJ victims.
The DOJ Criminal Complaint (click on hypertext here) charges Shroyer with chanting "1776"
outside the capitol.

speech crimes
Is there a federal criminal code concerning speech crimes? I'm not aware of this.

It sounds like he entered and stayed in a place at the Capitol that he should not have.
That got him 60 days. It had zero to do with speech.

On J6 it was illegal to encourage folks to enter the Capitol.
It was also illegal to discourage folks from entering the Capitol.
It was also illegal to say nothing anywhere near the Capitol.
If you had proper legal training (in North Korea) you would understand this!

The judges who presided over these kangaroo courts in conjunction with the political commissar/ prosecutors must be held accountable and punished severely for their crimes.

"It sounds like he entered and stayed in a place at the Capitol that he should not have."
Like thousands of others, he entered the Capitol grounds after Ray Epps and his buddies had dismantled the temporary fencing and warning signs. Since the grounds are normally open to the public, he had no indication that he was doing anything illegal. It's disappointing to see you so willing to accept the twin system of "justice" we now have. Do you know that NONE of the people arrested for rioting during Trump's inauguration were ever convicted of ANYTHING? 95% of the people simply had the charges dropped; the handful who went to trial were acquitted. These people were on video smashing store windows, smashing cars, setting fires, spraing graffiti, and throwing objects at police. You approve of that?

I am going to refrain from saying what I think about you. You are missing the obvious: Selective political prosecution/weaponization.

Many judges have blood on their hands imprisoning those who did nothing wrong but voice their support politically. And, that voice was the opposite side of the judge/jury.
They should have to endure a month of solitary confinement and the pressure from groups in prison who mock them.
The system makes me sick, but when they have to answer to Jesus, it’s going to be really a shock that they were wrong!!!

After nearly two years of fighting charges related to his presence outside the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, Owen made the decision to plead guilty to a lesser charge. The unlimited resources of fed.gov can put anybody in prison for anything, for any amount of time, regardless of the truth.
It's very important for Patriots to serve on juries and to hold prosecutors to the highest standards, but that's no help when the case is never brought to trial.

I wonder why FR won’t let me add the topic Extended News so freepers can see it on the sidebar. Only corporate media is allowed?
