Florida Republican Party chairman and Governor DeSantis ally Christian Ziegler is reported to be under law enforcement investigation after a woman filed a complaint with the Sarasota Police Department claiming he raped her. The Florida Center for Government Accountability says a police report – while heavily redacted – includes accusations of “rape” and “sexual battery.”
The complaint, filed on October 4th, states the incident allegedly occurred inside the woman’s home in Sarasota. According to the woman, she had been a participant in a long-term and consensual sexual relationship with both Ziegler and his wife Bridget – a co-founder of the ‘Moms for Liberty’ group also close with the Florida Governor.. The report indicates Mr. Ziegler and his accuser were alone at her residence when the alleged rape and sexual battery took place.
This is unfortunate for the RDS camp, but I don’t see it having anything personally to do with RDS.
The stool was not available for comment.

I saw this go around three times in SoCal. The first was “Open Marriage” in the early ‘70s, the second were swingers in the 80s, and the third was “the Lifestyle” in the 2000s, which again was swinging.
I was the cynical reactionary who told my friends that they were nuts and this would end in disaster, which of course it did. I’d say “what about jealousy?” and I was informed that they had evolved beyond such petty booshie emotions. It’s amazing the nonsense that people can talk themselves into.
In my hierarchy of depravity swinging is definitely worse than cheating. It seems more animalistic. They can be hooking up simply according to whose keys they draw out of a bowl. At least cheaters might actually be driven by something resembling emotion. This is probably like rating the circles of hell when you get down to it. Dante meets the Tinder App.
