Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

That wasn't his strong suit when he was firing on all cylinders.
Similar outcome for me...
Beautiful kitty! I want them all.
Me, too.
What a sweeetheart!
Good morning. Did you have a good night?
Has your outing been rained on to the point of cancellation?
It’s going to be 84° partly cloudy and windy today, with tomorrow having a high of 64° and rain. Crickey!
I need something to eat!
Hoo-boy. That makes disgusting sense!
LOL!
Jake was hanging around, including on my pillow.
I’ve been out to camp, helped train some youth staff, sat through their youth protection lecture. It has rained a lot.
Gave Frank two flashlights, two pairs of dry socks, and a cot. Gave James his jacket.
It sounds like the Boy Scouts in your house are still not “Prepared!”
But that’s OK. They will learn.
I’m sorry it was such a rainy weekend. Will you be able to reschedule the river trip you had planned?
I visited a bit with Linda today, but she is often so scattered it’s hard to figure out if she’s still talking about the same thing or if she’s off into La-La Land. Maybe, if I live here long enough, I’ll get to where I understand her. She’s a nice person, but I’m just not used to her. My bad! Maybe if I visited with her more often.
If I hadn’t been going there anyway, I wouldn’t have taken them things. The Riverkeeper event has been rescheduled to June 8, so maybe we’ll go to it then. They also have kayaking each weekend; maybe we’ll find a chance for that.
Lots of rain.
You’re such a good mom!
Lots of things to do between now and June 8, so maybe you will get some kayaking in.
I’m sorry it rained on your weekend.
I got my letter to Charlie done and mailed off, and played with the steering wheel cover a little, and then watched as the skies clouded over and then listened as the wind came up and set the chimes to singing.
The gal who delivers the prescriptions sometimes says she really likes the chimes. So do I! I’d like to have another set but they are so expensive now. As is everything else.
I found a couple of spots when Chip spewed last night, but I’ll give him some treats and hope he eats them. They seem to keep him from spewing so I’d like to keep them handy.
Now, though, I have to get up from here and fix him something to eat.
You’re right, everything is expensive. We have Tom here doing laundry. I’m going to take a shower. The rain has stopped for now.
Thankz you so much for your kindness, z!
Yayyy, dear FRiend! Please be aware that I pray for all the undeaders every morning. Take good care of yoursel.
Thank you for having taken care of the Princess! God bless.
Sweet little face!
Good morning. I hope you slept well, with no cat.
It’s 67° out, and the temp is going to drop through the rest of the day, as well as stay in the 60s and 70s for the next five days. Looks like we still have some winter days to get rid of before spring can officially come.
Chip ate all of his food again, so I guess the three day lapse is to be expected with FIV, but I’ll still need to get him to the vet soon. I can look forward to that every six months.
I obviously woke up before the alarm again, after another restless night, but I decided I’m going to church, anyway, not matter how ragged I feel. The heater is on in the bathroom, though its fairly warm in the house as well as outside.
Still, I’ll go shower in just a bit. I’ll feel better when I’m done, for sure.
Good morning. Not too bad, thanks. I just sent Kathleen out to walk the neighbor’s dog. No bros are home: Frank and James are still at camp, and Vlad went home with Tom last night in aid of playing Magic somewhere today.
More rain is expected, but not right now. The choir is going to do some Mexican songs after Mass in recognition of Cinco de Mayo. The official story is that we are “practicing,” because we decided against mentioning anything to the clergy. They can fire us is if they want.
It must be quiet at your place, for a change, with all the byos gone! And one of the girls.
Good for you and good for your practicing Mexican songs after Mass! The clergy can’t stop you. Let them fire you — they weren’t paying you very well in the first place!
The shower felt very good, and for once, the shower head didn’t scream at me. That was good and made the shower very relaxing!
I’m going to listen to an uplifting talk while I anticipate the next phase of readiness. It takes a while to get this creaky ol’ body to work like it’s supposed to!
