Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

Thanks!
It’s been a while since I had a cat, and this is like a whole new adventure. I’m sure he’ll be my Best Friend Ever Forever, but for now, he’s exhausted.
That’s OK. I have plenty of time to wait for him to come around to accepting where he is!
If you get up at night, watch your step!
I have night lights all through the apartment, so I don’t think I’ll step on the tiny little critter. I’ll be able to see him.
Chip is alive!
I was watching “Inspector Morse,” and heard something behind me. Or under me. I looked underneath and could see nothing, then went and looked behind the back of the sofa and there’s this little shadowy thing sitting on the woofer!
Good sign! 💖
👍🏻
Thanks, I will give that a listen over the weekend...
With those ingredients I would expect nothing but empty containers coming home! Kids are a bit odd these days... 🙃
Excellent!
Yay!! It’s a process.
Has the little guy eaten or had any water?
If he has eaten anything, it was a few bites of dry food, and if he ate, I’m sure he had water, as well. He has used the litter box, so that’s also good. Tomorrow may be a better day for him.
I’ll just keep waiting and watching!
All the youths have been drove. Kathleen is camping with the girl Boy Scouts. They borrowed the van. Frank is at an overnight event at church: some girls from Envirothon invited the other teenagers. Kathleen could have gone if she didn’t have the campout.
Vlad can pick Frank up tomorrow, because DP and I have choir.
Meanwhile, DP went to play the guitar at the dinner for the homeless and had a nice time and Mexican food.
¡I’d like some autentica comida mexicana! The music would have been good, as well!
It’s been raining off and on all day, the wind is still blowing and it’s still really cold!
I hope all the kids have/had fun tonight.
Now, I’m going to go read a Conference talk and then study some Scriptures. I should be ready to fall asleep by the time I get done!
See ya tomorrow, with more news of the Chipster!
A Persian! I haven’t seen one of those, even in pictures, for ages!
Good morning. I hope you had a good night.
Chip has investigated his little bed and a catnip toy (the toy had been inside the little tent-bed and is now on the floor in front of it) he’s eaten all his wet food, which was about a rounded tablespoonful, and has obviously had some dry food, which also means he’s had water.
He’s still perched on the woofer, and it looks as if that’s where he’s going to stay until his comfort zone increases. At least I know he’s eating and functioning.
He’ll be OK.
I slept almost through the entire night, which doesn’t happen often. I needed it after my trip to Kanab, and then having to get up early on Friday for the tires.
Nothing is planned for today but to write to Charlie and clean house a little.
Good for Chip. Does the woofer warm up and vibrate when it’s on? Maybe he likes that. A peaceful environment will do wonders for him.
I hope you have a very restful day. I need to get ready for choir and then get Vlad ready to pick Frank up from his friends’ church. Vlad will have to leave about 10:45.
I don’t know if the woofer warms up or not, but it’s in front of the heater, so I’m not surprised that Chip likes it there. And it’s dark.
I need some breakfast! Then to get dressed so I can be warm as it will take a while for the heater to warm up the place. I keep it on “Low,” otherwise, the place would be unbearably hot.
Enjoy the choir! And good for Vlad going after Frank!
Vlad likes to drive, like me, and this is a pleasant drive out into the country.
I like to drive as well. I’m just not used to it! I’ll get there, though! I feel better about with new tires on the car.
Now I’ve got no excuse to not go to St George to Freddie’s Car wash!
We just got home from choir to find the car still parked in front of the house but Vlad gone. Turns out Tom showed up and decided they should go pick Frank up together, presumably in Tom’s new company car. Bros!
LOL! I’m sure that must have been quite the surprise to see the car still there!
I freshened up Chip’s food and water, so when he gets tired of sleeping he can have some tasty gooshy fudz.
It got too hot for him behind the sofa so he went back into the closet. He’s so tiny, he can get into the smallest of spaces. I’m sure he won’t come out today, but maybe tomorrow, he’ll come to see the human. And I can take some photos! :o])
