Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

The cat nudged the door open? Why didn’t the owner try to open door himself? Couldn’t have been locked, if a nudge opened it.

Good morning. Happy Friday!

We had some more snow yesterday. The complex didn’t even bother to do anything about it. There’s still a dusting on our parking area, which doesn’t get much sun. Most of the rest of the paved areas are clear.

Tomorrow we’re going to try to get added to the in-laws’ bank account so we can help them out when they need it. I want to make sure we won’t have the interest reported to the IRS for us since it won’t be our money.

I’m still holding to my 4s in Wordle. Those 2s yesterday were impressive.

Good Friday Morning!

Woke up to 64 degrees F... first time we didn’t need a fire overnight in some time... more of the same on tap for tonight, but back down to the 30s for Sunday morning... we’ve been enjoying a fair amount of sunshine as well!

Opened up the back nine play on the beautiful par 4 10th hole... the warm sun and amazing ocean view makes me want to play this hole over and over... I was disappointed by my distance off the tee and it probably set the tone for the rest of the hole... a stellar drive from the fairway got me very close to the green while avoiding another dip into a bunker...

A short chip up left me in good shape for an easy tap in for Par...

(This Par on the 10th hole keeps me at 1 under (39) for the round... ⛳️)

Good morning, everyone. It is cold here, according to the cat and the whiner-son.

Probably the only thermometers that you need!

Little ascot under its chin! How sweet!

Good morning. Did you sleep well with no interruptions?

I got six hours before I woke up the first time, and then two, and then two more. I didn’t want to get up when I did but my foot was hurting.

I hope my letter to Charlie goes without a hitch today.

Yes, I don’t even both with the weather channel. Cat goes out, cat comes in.

Not bad. I think I was clenching my jaw, because I had a headache when I woke up. It’s gone, now.

It’s 33° here. I don’t know about you, but it would seem that winter is here. The days are warm, but the nights are really chilly! The stupid heater cycles on in the afternoon when the sun is coming in the living room window full force.

And Chuck is still out, so he must have Covid, as well. First it was his daughter and S-i-L, and now it’s him and probably his wife. *sheesh*

I’m glad your headache was fleeting. I also hope it stays away for the entire day!

Exactly so. But he’s not about to retire any time soon, and I need some things done here. Like storm doors and a replacement light over the kitchen sink. I don’t know why he didn’t take care of it before I moved in, as he had plenty of time.

I think I’m going to decorate the tree today. Then I have one more Nativity to reassemble and put out. My Lego Nativity! I may leave that one out all this next year. I usually have two or three out all year round because I like them, but most of them are small enough to fit on a bookcase shelf in front of the books.

At one point I got a tooth guard from the dentist because they thought my nightly jaw-clenching was breaking my crowns. Recently I decided its fit was so bad it was messing with the spacing between teeth so I stopped using that custom made job and started using an off-the-shelf brand from Rite-Aid.

I don’t know if it would help with headaches, but my crowns are lasting longer.

I understand the smart thermostats now have extensions so you can tell them to take the temperature from somewhere else. You could place an extension in the sun and tell it to use that for its decision making.

Of course, those aren’t exactly cheap. But around here we get regular sales sponsored by the utility to make them affordable.
