Homeowner Locked Out Of House Pleads with His Feline Companions To Let Him In
The Pet Zealot ^ | December 01, 2023 | James Alain L.

Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

No naps for me today. It was the only day Carissa was available, so the Monday Nap is out.

However, the dainties have been hung up and the sheets are sitting on the bed, waiting for me to play with them, and I decided to sit for about 15-30 minutes between jobs. I think I tweaked my back when I fell Thursday, so I’m just being a little careful.

Maybe everything will be done by the time Carissa gets here. And maybe I can drop my watch off at the jeweler’s to get an estimate of repairs, so I don’t have to gouge my wrist with straight pins anymore.

And when I get back, it will be nearly time for Chris.

I didn’t know anything was worse than a colonoscopy! Good luck with your busy day!

And an extra $20 to fix what broke when you dropped it off. ;)

Cute! It’s been dropped. But not at the jewelry store. Maybe next time.

Thanks!

I can wear loose-fitting shoes or the Killer Clown Shoe and one other on the other foot. I have been released to drive so all that’s stopping me is getting The Raisin insured and registered, and I’m to go back in a month to see him and have him check the progress of the healing, now that the stitches are out of the foot.

Chris the nurse stopped by around noon, and said he will be back on Friday to take the stitches out of my forehead, at which time he will consider me done and dusted. I’m not sure about the therapy sessions. I won’t know until tomorrow, when Tiffany comes again. She didn’t have to do much in the way of therapy, for sure!

But it would seem as if I have been given the green light to get back into mischief! ;o]

Good morning. Happy Twosday!

Things are just here, here. It’s still chilly but not bone cold. It’s supposed to get warmer later this week. Maybe Phil was right about an early spring.

I snapped back to normal in Wordle.

Good Morning!

Things are pretty much just here, here, as well... and early spring would be very nice, but I can’t count on it at this point in time...

Another 3-spot for me this morning...

(Wondering if our 2nd word was the same today...)

The attack of the killer computer!

Good morning.

I hope you had a restful night, after your busy day, yesterday.

So life is nearly back to normal for me.

I’ll get The Raisin insured today and as soon as I can, I’ll get up to DMV and get it all nice and legal-like.

Then I can drive it where I need to go. YAY!!

I never saw Phil this year. I don’t think I even read about him. So he may not even be real!

It’s a little on the warm side here (57Β°) but this is just the first week in February, and winter isn’t over with. It’s going to rain again today, all day.

But we need it, being in a desert and all.

So I need to get some breakfast and start my day!

I’m very excited that you’ll soon be driving!

Jake let me sleep in until 5:45. I need to go to Walmart for more gooshy food. Then I’m taking Pat to get his hair cut.

The liturgy committee turned out to not be worse than a colonoscopy this month. I got the information I needed, and it was over by 8:15.

If I can get Linda or Carissa to take me to DMV one day this week, I can drive myself to church on Sunday, and not have to wait for Annette or beg for a ride with someone else.

Good for Jake!

I have to get grocks again soon, too, but I have to wait until The Raisin is legal to see how much I have left for food. I just paid the utility bill, and I’m anxious for it to go down when the temperatures outside start going up.

I’m glad the liturgy committee turned out to be not worse than a colonoscopy. I’m also glad you were home early!

Now I’m going to get dressed.

Tiffany was just here, and went for a short walk in the rain with me. One more visit by the head of the physical therapy department and I’m done with it. And of course, one more visit by Chirs and he’ll close out his actions as well. Then, one more visit with the podiatrist next month and I’m all done. Yay!

It will be raining all day. Again. But I have the moon, so I’m good!

I wonder what it really is that passes for music these days?

I don't know but if I see Taylor Swift in one more headline I'm not going to be responsible for the consequences.

It seems like the "more variety" radio station I tune to thinks variety means playing different Taylor Swift songs.

So I switch back to the oldies station.

Break-core is electronic, and apparently it has something like a medium speed, compared to other kinds of cores. I asked Vlad if everything was “core,” or if some kinds of music are periphery or fringes or marginal. He didn’t think so.

That’s too far above my current music knowledge. It’s been a while since I did any music studying, so I’m out of my elephant on this one!

I need to go put some oil on my stitches to lessen the itching. And change out of my day clothes. No company for tomorrow or Thursday, either. So life is getting back to normal. Whatever that is.

Chuck hasn’t been to work for the last two days, so I don’t know what’s up with that. I hope he doesn’t have Covid again. Or worse yet, that his heart is acting up! I suppose I’ll find out sooner or later.

The chimes are singing again. They didn’t do that much in AR, but I’m really glad to hear them now.
