Astronomers have detected one of the most powerful cosmic rays ever observed – and it was beamed at Earth from a mysterious part of deep space.
The cosmic phenomenon carried the energy of 240 quintillion electron volts – that’s 240 billion billion (followed by 18 zeros).
For comparison, a typical lightning bolt is about 300 million volts.
The cosmic ray – named Amaterasu, after the sun goddess in Japanese mythology – was detected by a telescope system in Utah in May 2021 by scientists who described it as ‘unprecedented’ in modern times.

I was hoping you could tell me, because they didn’t tell in the article what the message was about.. 🤣
If you say so.
Thanks. Same series, different book. My bad.
Mostly it’s like a drunk looking for a coin under a streetlight, “because that’s where the light is”.
People could have dropped coins all around the block.
If the drunk found ONE of those coins that happened to be under that particular streetlight, would you then say there was only one loose coin in the entire block?
If you say so.
Particles have mass so don’t travel at c.
No idea what it was, but would not want to be in a space suit and get hit by it. You WOULD feel it.
The word "ray" threw me off.
Of course, I am as much a physicist as I am a physician.
Pas du tout...
Appreciate the info & links, thank you!
Interesting interview especially in the last 2 minutes with name association 1 word answer.
Not clear to me if cosmic rays were aimed at site in UT or possibly just site was only place in general region of world impacted able to monitor arrival and intensity. Probably latter so not a UT-specific message if a message at all. If not a deliberate message from intelligent beings (and not necessarily intended for us, maybe we were in its direction but it was going to some unknown destination), it could be some super-energetic event like collapse of a black hole.
Speaking of Skinwalker Ranch, I agree, drill baby drill, if there really is an object that will cause a big reaction, let’s know sooner not later. Reading between the lines, they hint at it being an alien spacecraft or object associated with a space-time portal, in which case why buried there? (or buried anywhere?)
By the way. What in the world is the “Fine-structure constant”?

Mind-blowing.
The point I was making is that these atheist minded people are still using the names of spiritual beings of a kind that they don’t really believe instead of sourcing the given titles from names that don’t come from imaginary omnipotent sources. Many of these people assert that there are no existent spiritual beings in the universe yet they insist on using names that point to the existence of such. Yeah maybe they hate Christianity but they still can’t seem to get away from using Pagan religious sources for the names of their various stars, phenomena, and cosmic particles.
They still seem stuck with trying to appease what was known in the Athens of Paul’s time as the “Unkown God”. These people are doing it instinctively and even they don’t know why. Oh sure they will claim they trying to attach some sort of symbolic meaning that makes their new particle or phenomena seem significant or important to the masses but there is no reason why they should do that since mixing religion with science muddles the science...right??!!
