Astronomers have detected one of the most powerful cosmic rays ever observed – and it was beamed at Earth from a mysterious part of deep space.
The cosmic phenomenon carried the energy of 240 quintillion electron volts – that’s 240 billion billion (followed by 18 zeros).
For comparison, a typical lightning bolt is about 300 million volts.
The cosmic ray – named Amaterasu, after the sun goddess in Japanese mythology – was detected by a telescope system in Utah in May 2021 by scientists who described it as ‘unprecedented’ in modern times.

That’s the location of the NSA building!
They don’t know where it originated from, but since they use the words *beamed to earth*, that signifies they know there was intent involved.
Yeah, sure......
Based on the wording, it wasn’t traveling at c?
That a c component arrived first?
Since it was Utah. Was it related to that place the Mormons sing about in the hymn that uses the “Dives and Lazarus” folksong theme?
climate change
In the big world, that's about 16 joules of kinetic energy. A .22lr bullet is about 180 joules. So for a subatomic particle that's pretty damn impressive.
Great shades of Skinwalker Ranch!
‘On [that] world, the people are people. The leaders are lizards. The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people.’
‘Odd,’ said Arthur, ‘I thought you said it was a democracy?’
‘I did,’ said Ford, ‘It is.’
‘So,’ said Arthur, hoping he wasn’t sounding ridiculously obtuse, ‘why don’t the people get rid of the lizards?’
‘It honestly doesn’t occur to them,’ said Ford. ‘They’ve all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they’ve voted in more or less approximates to the government they want.’
‘You mean they actually vote for the lizards?’
‘Oh yes,’ said Ford with a shrug, ‘of course.’
‘But,’ said Arthur, going for the big one again, ‘why?’
‘Because if they didn’t vote for a lizard,’ said Ford, ‘the wrong lizard might get in.’
lol...Good stuff.
Yes, the whole point of their TV series is the appearance of odd forms of energy, and repeated suggestions of something of future or alien origins buried in the ground there. They are taking their sweet time getting to the point, it is now about 3-4 years since they first detected an object buried under a mesa that is basically the northern boundary of the ranch. It is supposedly buried quite deep but just above the approximate elevation of the ranch, or several hundred feet below the top of the mesa. They have been tracking energy pulses that seem to be capable of disappearing into the ground and re-appearing, with suggestions of space-time portals. It all seems crazy but the people involved do not give off the “obviously crazy” vibes of some UFO types. So I keep an open mind and wonder if they will succeed in discovering anything out of the ordinary under the ground or not.
:-)
Pretty impressive!
They missed Mitt, tho...

I don’t understand why they do not apply for and get a tunneling, excavation, or mining permit.
Drilling is so lame.

And 40 miles away at the Ollinger’s Blind Frog Ranch
What’s interesting is why atheistic minded science people love to assign names of pagan gods and goddesses to such phenomena! It might be a Masonry or Illuminati thing...who knows!
Why? Did you see Geraldo Rivera’s show on Al Capone’s Vault? It’s like the Finding Bigfoot or Oak Island shows. As long as they keep mucking around, the series can go on.
easy way to find out is to inform the fib that a huge cache of gold from the civil war was buried there and there’s proof enough to get some investors involved in a dig to find it...if “SOMEONE” doesn’t dig it up first. then stand back and watch your government at work.
Answer is quite simple. If it were Christian scientists, everything would be named God.
God-particle. God-ray, God-this or God-that would get quite confusing in short order.
In a choosing from Hindu mythology names of the incarnations and manifestations of the aspects of the Godhead are practically endless.
