In a move that has ratcheted up tensions in an already precarious region, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the arrival of one of its Ohio-class submarines in its area of responsibility (AOR).
The Biden regime has yet to release an official statement.
“On November 5, 2023, an Ohio-class submarine arrived in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility,” U.S. Central Command wrote on X/Twitter.

The Ohio-class submarines are the largest submarines ever built by the U.S. Navy. They are 560 feet long and 42 feet wide, and displace 18,750 tons when submerged.
The Ohio-class submarine has nuclear weapons. The 14 Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarines (SSBNs) carry about half of the United States’ active strategic thermonuclear warheads that are capable of erasing a country from the map.

It's not even high tech to take out a submarine if you know where it is.
Sinking a sub is never easy.
Showing everyone his "O Face".
its a “OHIO-CLASS” submarine...not necessarily the U.S.S. OHIO...
It’s the Florida, no nuke missiles.
theres it is...the most lethal weapons system on Earth...the “city killers’. One boat could basically end the World...
Good point. Thank you.
“Things sure have changed since I was in the military. I always thought the location of US Nuclear Submarines was classified SECRET. Correct me if you are a Submariner out there.”
If it went through the Suez Canal everyone knows.
If it went through the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait the Russians and Chinese would know.

😵💫
🤣😂🤣
The huge American naval presence is designed to thwart Turkey, Iran, and other players from getting into the game. Israel needs to limit the conflict to an Israeli-Hamas War. So far it has been effective in this goal.
SSGNs...former Boomers that were converted to carry guided missiles instead of ballistic missiles.
Can neither confirm nor deny that they can carry nuclear tipped cruise missiles.
The latest sighting in that theater happened because we wanted it to. Submarine patrol areas are highly classified otherwise.
If this is the USS Florida, it was reclassified as SSGN from its original designation as SSBN. As I understand, SSGNs don’t carry nukes.
As for football, he imagines that he taught Bear Bryant and Alanzo Stagg everything there was.

Chicago Bears look like they were his understudies...

Having the sub sunk is not in the plan. All the war-hawks need is some raghead to take a shot at it with a RPG as it is traversing the Suez. Surfaced!
I understand we have two that have been retrofitted with conventional crus missiles (a lot of them). I'm sure this is one of them. The boomers are strategic assets and you don't get them any where near a conflict area.
Sure, just park it it shallow water. Might as well surface and paint a large target on the deck.
Off topic but what does “FAFO” stand for? I keep seeing it and I must have been on vacation when it first come out.
Meanwhile, there is a Boomer out the somewhere ready to empty Sherwood Forest. Never underestimate the SSBN.
Tomahawk missiles, like those in the SSGN’s, can carry nuclear warheads. Don’t know if the sub carries any of those.
Speak loudly and carry no stick.😡
