Ryan Fournier @RyanAFournier Yesterday I put up a tweet alleging that Mark Meadows wore a wire in the White House during the last stretch.
I’ve spoke with some of my sources again, and now it seems that information was wrong and incorrect. In fact, two of them retracted their statements on the matter entirely.
I apologize for putting something out without it not being 100% accurate. That’s on me and I’ll do better next time. I also apologize to Congressman Meadows, and his staff for having to field questions on the issue.
There seems to be some dark forces behind the scenes trying to get Meadows, and to me that is very problematic, especially when it seems like it’s being sent through the grapevines by some of our own.

The “dark forces” have already “flipped” him. All he needs to do is say what they want to hear and he’ll be okay.
He’s already been given immunity.... we’ll find out why soon enough.
Fournier was probably threatened with a defamation lawsuit...............
How do you get that wrong? They told him Meadows was wearing women’s underwear and he misheard it thinking they said he was wearing a wire?
He was wearing a wired bra, not a wire for recording conversations.
It does appear he received a phone call from Meadows’ staff.
Fournier didn’t have the best reputation to begin with. Can’t think it improved with this episode.
Well, so much for that.
This dope would be a perfect “journalist” for Gateway Pundit or Conservative Treehouse.
That's short-sighted. If there are "dark forces" out to get Meadows, it's probably because there are darker forces out to get President Trump and Meadows is an avenue of attack. That's like saying there were dark forces out to get Jeff Sessions.
So the question is whether Fournier's sources were correct and Meadows was somehow compromised by the FBI, or the sources were convinced to retract their stories because the darker forces recognized the ramifications a story like this would have on the Georgia Trump trials, or they were outright wrong as Fournier now reports.
How many swallowed it hook, line, and sinker?
Some people are just incapable of critical thinking.
At first I thought it might be possible, because I’m inclined to see those that surround Trump as a pack of grifters looking for their book deal.... but then again, three can keep a secret if two are dead, is a good rule of skepticism.
The left is doing everything to create confusion and division in the Republicans.
And the Stupid Party falls for it every time.
You realize that half of the people have below-average intelligence.
No sh!t, Sherlock.
Still an untrustworthy backstabber.
...and Cohen just admitted to lying when he was under oath. Where is the justice in this mess?
Or the NYT, WashPost, LA Times, NPR, etc etc.
