Joe Biden's intent with this trip seems very political the fact that it's publicized in advance a Presidential trip to a War Zone goes against all previous secret trips to war zones in Iraq and Afghanistan by US presdidents.
Tonight the explosion incident at a hospital in Gaza is causing this trip to turn into a disaster the part of the visit to Jordan to meet Arab and Palestinian leadership scrapped.

I agree with a two state solution. Send the Palestinians to Sinai and give them a country. Make the entire country green. That means all construction materials, vehicles, power, and anything else that does not require petroleum.
Have a global consortium bring their technology to bare and use it to build the new country. Have experts in their field bring solutions to the problems with implementing a green energy solution.
As the new Palestine would be the beta test for the worlds conversion to green energy, move the UN there as a symbol of the new peace that the Palestinians will embrace. And once the UN is built and populated and starting their meetings, ensure the Palestinians are comfortable in their new country. Broadcast to the world the glory of modern energy and demonstrate how this will make our world a better place.
Then nuke the place from orbit... just to be sure.
