Republican Jeff Landry's victory for the Louisiana governorship shook up not only liberals but the entire political world. What was supposed to be only a jungle primary with the ultimate winner to be determined in the general election runoff turned out to be a flat out victory for Landry. The Democrats never expected this to happen since they had only one candidate in the primary while the Republicans had several who were expected to split the vote up among themselves resulting in no overall winner. Instead Landry won both an absolute MAJORITY of the vote as well as the governorship so no no need of going to the general election. As a result we have some very entertaining meltdowns from liberals. Break out the popcorn and enjoy!
PING!
I DESPISE that little skid mark that led off the video.
To that lady with the cat eye type glasses and the forehead you could sell ad space on, move, just don’t come to Texas.
It looks like the Little Skidmark is a Tic Tac Token convincer.
Yeah, he was early on saying he was going to deliver the youth vote for Biden. That little SOB needs a nice tour of deep west Texas.
They’re mad because they had the steal set up for the runoff. All the ballets sere printed and ready to be dumped in the mail-in boxes. They didn’t expect to have to steal the primary. Unlike republicans they’ll learn from their mistake. In 4 years the democrat will win the primary with 60% of the vote after a 110% all democrat turnout in New Orleans.
The funniest remarks are about how poor the Deep South is, and how the Yankee government is spending more on them then the rest of the country, and the MAGA Republicans want to cut big government but still take the handouts.
Yet they’re too stupid to know history, in that when the Civil War/War Between the States ended, there were huge populations of slaves that were now free, and they were black. Well there were no jobs for them. Farming was about all they could do. The sharecrop system was devised to let them work a piece of land and trade their crop for supplies, seed and some money. This went on for 80 years or so.
With the advent of WWI and the economic boom of the Roaring 20s, many blacks migrated North, bringing their culture, music and language with them. Cities such as New York, Chicago, Detroit, etc. got a vibrant new population, but the majority of the blacks remained down South.
The biggest economic hit for this community happened after WWII and the advent of the modern combine. A single man at the helm of such a machine could pick hundreds of acres of cotton.
Sharecropping died.
To take its place, big government stepped in. The black father was replaced by Sugar Daddy Sam. The Welfare state was born. Once thriving black communities became ghettos.
Well guess what happened down South? Those populations of rural blacks still live in those collections of impoverished towns and settlements. Half of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina is like this. Nobody farms, and there is no work out in the country.
The only real answer, of course is to move to where the jobs are.
But unless they do, I LOVE to ask Leftist Yankees, “Do you think the federal government should cut payment to MAGA states? If so, do you realize you will starve millions of African Americans?”
They don’t realize, because they are stupid and have no knowledge of history or economics, but they sure are eager to punish other people.
bkmk
What, they’ve never heard of Bobby Jindal or Mike Foster?
How’s Kentucky looking? If we pull that off they’ll jump off a bridge
WTH?!?!?!
I am certain that I heard NPR identify Landry as a Democrat because I was lying in bed wondering to myself, “How in the Hell does Louisiana keep electing Democrats to the Governorship???”
I’m glad THAT was straightened out!
