I was just thinking how grateful I am that all the grandkids in the family are out of college and their kids are too young to be in public school. We were resupplying our medical kits to carry with Sawyers doing trail maintenance work in remote areas, a long way from medical help. The average chainsaw injury, back at the time I looked it up, was 110 stitches, with a very good chance blood vessels would be severed. We ended up with ‘Israeli bandages’ in our kits. We’ve never had to use one, but it’s better to have it & not need it then need it & not have it (why my personal medical kit was always too heavy , plus I was an ex-EMT).
The CAT tourniquet is new to me, but looks good.

If I were Israel, I’d think long and hard about a full force assault in Gaza. Hamas wants this too bad. I’m afraid they are setting a trap. Get the Israeli army to charge headfirst, no holds barred into Gaza only to be met with traps set up before they ever invaded Saturday. They knew what they did would enrage the Israelis and incite them into a full ground assault. An assault they are totally prepared for. Hezbollah did something similar a few years back and were totally prepared with anti-tank rocket, minefields and RPGs, and bloodied the Israeli forces pretty bad early before they adjusted their tactics. We’ve seen in Ukraine and Afghanistan how easy expensive armor can be destroyed by relatively inexpensive anti-tank munitions. Urban warfare is perfect for that type of fighting. Every Palestinian is the enemy, from old men to children.
If it was me, I’d shut off all food, water, power, medical supplies and cut all communications with the outside world. Let nothing in and no one out. Level the city with bombs and rockets and just let them die. The hostages are already dead, and the people of Gaza are not innocent civilians. They voted these people into power and teach their children from the crib to kill Jews. Let them reap the whirlwind.

I too have a feeling that there's something foreboding in the air and it was the theatrical event of Swift's "Eras" tour film that I imagined would be a perfect target. A crowded theater full of mostly unarmed girls and young women.
The movie premiers nationwide this Friday and cinemas across the country are going to be packed.
she is starting the release tommorrow due to demand.
I am in awe of what she has accomplished. She screwed over the Major Studios, is helping revive AMC, and is going to make a ton of cash. I don’t know who is guiding her but she has some genius marketing people.
The premiere is tonight in Los Angeles. It opens to select theaters tomorrow. Friday is the wide release.
I think Swift is great. I had planned on taking my kids to the movie (since there was no way in heck I'd be able to snag tickets to her tour).
It's going to be the biggest film of the year and theaters are going to be absolutely packed.
