French screen legend, Brigitte Bardot, was born on the 28th of September, 1934, in Paris. She has, in different ways, and for two very different sets of beings, been a great libertarian all her life. I believe her own words prove that:
“I’m a girl from a good family who was very well brought up. One day I turned my back on it all and became a bohemian ……. I have been very happy, very rich, very beautiful, much adulated, very famous and very unhappy ……”
“It is sad to grow old but nice to ripen ………. I gave my beauty and my youth to men. I am going to give my wisdom and experience to animals ……… I left a world in which I was a queen to enter one in which I’m a human being.”
“I am a native Frenchwoman and proud of it …… (but)I mourn the fact that my beautiful country has deteriorated in every way ……… French courts are backward and politically correct, which is the height of stupidity …… In a democracy one must have the right to express oneself and that’s what I do, even if it displeases.”
"Do you have to have a reason for loving? ........ When I love, I do it without counting. I give myself entirely. And each time, it is the grand love of my life ........ My wild and free side unsettled some, and unwedged others ......"
Bardot understood the limits of freedom.
“Women get more unhappy the more they try to liberate themselves.”
But she found true love: “My favourite animals are dogs.”
Mans best friend.
And Brigitte Bardot’s.

Do not make them like her anymore...
The 20s and 30s produced an endless supply of beautiful women...
My birth year, 33, produced Gina L. and Barbara E., for example.
She cared more about men and animals than her own son. She basically abandoned him to his father because her son was an inconvenience.
Nothing to admire about her personal life.
Last I heard she got in big trouble with the French government for daring to say that Muslim immigrants were incompatible with French culture.
Of the sex symbols of that era, she’s probably my least favorite. IMO Marilyn Monroe was the best, sadly she ended her life, or got mixed up in politics which could have been her actual demise.
“basically abandoned him to his father because her son was an inconvenience”
Maybe she knew that if she raised him he would turn out to be a total s#!t.
My 2nd of 4, total reprobate, he cast his fate to the wind and lost. My older half-brother was the same, but SE asia had a lot to do with his ugly demise. Two total train wrecks. Life.
The psychology of others is destructive to ponder sometimes... yet we are human and continue to wonder the why, or the how.
Amazingly beautiful.
You could never take a bad picture of Marilyn.
She was a PETA freak. Spit!
That’s plenty ripe.
