Schoolchildren in Russia will learn to handle rifles, operate UAVs – UK intel

With the help of a new curriculum at schools, Russia is imposing a new view of the history of Ukraine and introducing military skills to reduce training timelines for onwards mobilization. The UK Defense Ministry said this in an intelligence update posted on the social platform X, Ukrinform reports.
It is noted that Russia’s new school year has begun with a new curriculum incorporating both military skills and the Kremlin’s view of the history of Ukraine.
One element, the "Basics of Life Safety", is aimed towards senior students and includes a basic military training module. This will include handling Kalashnikovs, the use of hand grenades, uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) operations, and battlefield first aid.

Go Vlad! No surprise, when I was in Russia around the Soviet breakup, the secondary school students learned the AK, firing, cleaning disassembly/ assembly and many schools had shooting ranges in the basements.
The Russian woman I knew could disassemble my AK with a blindfold! Compare our kids today, **********, go Vlad! …..my oh my, how far America has fallen…..of course I am old enough to remember bringing my shotgun to school and go dove hunting in the fields around school.

If this was just some obscure political movement confined to a small area - it would be one thing.
But this stuff is coming out of the centralized elites of the self-advertised “Greatest Nation on Earth”, and “Last, best hope of Mankind”.
