Democrats have to dump Joe Biden as their 2024 nominee — prez, policies wildly unpopular with the people

The calendar says summer is ending, vacations are over and it’s time to get back to work. If you’re a Democrat, it’s also time to get serious about dumping Joe Biden as your 2024 nominee.

It’s been eons since the president has enjoyed even decent poll numbers, but amid a glut of bad ones, last week’s Wall Street Journal survey stands out.

With only minor exceptions, it shows Biden and his policies, especially on inflation and the economy, are wildly unpopular and that the vast majority of all registered voters do not want him to seek re-election.

Instead, they want him to turn out the lights and take a permanent vacation.

Meanwhile, a Journal survey of just Republican voters paints such a rosy picture of Donald Trump’s support that he appears to be on an unstoppable march to the nomination.

The former president now holds a 46-point lead over runner-up Ron DeSantis, with the Florida governor’s backing at just 13%, continuing its months-long decline.

But it is among the larger group of registered voters from both parties and independents where the Journal poll has the worst possible news for Biden and Democrats.

The top finding is that an astounding 73% of all respondents believe Biden, at 80 and in obvious decline, is too old to run for a second term.

Remarkably, that number includes two-thirds of Dems, the Journal says.

The contrast between the leading contenders for the Oval Office is striking.

Less than three years after Biden took the White House from Trump, the winner is in something of a free fall and the loser is on a roll.

The only viable candidate they have is Gov Dipstick here in California, I don’t think Big Mike wants to undergo the scrutiny that will be unleashed should he enter the race.

Thing is, he has destroyed the country. We've borrowed so much money we'll be lucky to keep up with the interest payment.

He's destroyed our borders and we will never get rid of the world's unwashed and unwanted, and they'll never contribute anything to America.

And our military. The numbers and readiness are about like pre WW2.

But he's rich and Hunter is free and that's all that matters. Right?

My money is on the Mooch. Biden was nominated in 2020 solely because of his wide name recognition. If Trump looks like he has a shot in 2024, the Democrats will again look for someone with wide name recognition.

That’s not Gavin. It’s the Mooch.

Side note: Some folks say Michelle is too lazy to run for president. That’s not a problem. The Deep State will handle all the details of her campaign, and of her presidency. All she needs to do is wave to the adoring crowds occasionally. Like a queen would do.

This is actually terrible news.

Biden is the most beatable incumbent I’ve seen in my life. He old, senile, corrupt, incompetent, mean, creepy and those are the NICE THINGS I can say about him.

Even in biased fake news polls like CBS/ABC (can’t remember which—does it matter?) he is running in the 30s % approval.

I think it will be Gavin. He has visited the White House to measure for drapes. He is driven and knows how lie very convincingly. He will step all over Moochele to get into the White House.

An interesting D ticket might be Gavin for president, and Michelle for vice president. Gavin brings his evidently popular incompetence while Michelle brings name recognition.

I hope they keep him. I can’t hate Joe the way he is now. He is too entertaining.

Interesting perspective. It could apply to others besides Mikey. You don’t need to do the work or even campaign; the all powerful “state” will cover it.

Unfortunately the days of a true accurate vote count are long gone. Democrats could run Stalin Satan or Hitler and they would still get the office. Because it no longer matters who votes but who counts the votes. Or what counts the votes and who controls it.

That makes the most sense. Gavin as pres (figurehead) and the Mooch as VP (a do nothing job).
