An official in Ukraine reported on Thursday night that two Russian officers were killed and 15 other servicemen were hospitalized after a "mass poisoning attack" that occurred during a festive event in the city of Mariupol.

Petro Andryushchenko, an adviser to the mayor of Mariupol in Ukraine, reported the incident on the Telegram app and wrote that "the poisoning was carried out by Ukrainian partisans while Kremlin forces celebrated Navy Day last Sunday." According to him, "During the celebration, the officers were poisoned in one of the military facilities."

The Kremlin believes that the poisoning was caused by cyanide pills and pesticides that were placed near the food plates. As a result, they claimed, 17 Russian servicemen were hospitalized in serious condition, and two other officers later died.

Couldn’t have happened to nicer “invaders”. RIP Russian officers.

War crimes are good when we perpetrate them.

Apparently “perpetrated” by civilians living under Russian occupation.

After World War II a group of Jewish Partisans attempted to poison the civilian water system in Nuremberg (they were thwarted) and SS soldiers in an American POW camp. They were more successful there.

War crimes are karma when Russians suffer them.

I am so tired of you sleazebags pretending this is not an illegal war being conducted by the USA against Russia and pretending it is a Ukraine war.

That was random. This site discourages personal attacks, i.e., ad hominem, which seems to the sole "thrust" of your argument. I do not know what triggered your response, but your "reply" contains nothing but vitriol, no argument.

I had friends in college who were Ukrainians born in a DP camp in Germany. They had served in the U.S.M.C., but their enlistments were delayed by legal problems. Seemed they had thrown red paint on the building hosting the Russian mission to the U.N. The USMC managed to overlook that. I have been aware of the enmity that Ukrainians bear towards Russians for decades. If you have read any of my posts on this thread, you will see that I am not a supporter of war. War is the health of government, and the destroy of people.

But here we are. Biden practically invited Putin to invade Ukraine. Putin would never have done it if Trump was in the Whitehouse, but Trump promises to cut off aid to Ukraine.

How can the world avoid concluding that the United States is a dangerous enemy, and an unreliable and devious friend.

You should have me banned, you nuclear warmongering Twinkie.

That way I will give all my donations to Alex Jones, who is actually fighting the globalist genocidal maniacs.

And you can keep whining like a little girl.

I probably shouldn’t respond, but I am not inclined to have anyone banned, short of physical threats. I tried to engage you like an adult. Maybe I just overestimated your intellect and maturity, or potential for either.

Go back to cheerleading for poisoning people.

You seem to be good at it.

Putin is the aggressor. He chose to invade Ukraine.

There is a thousand year history of conflict between Russia and Ukraine, where Russia originated.

Just because your two brain cells aren't able to comprehend anything other than simple-minded bumper-sticker slogans doesn't change that.

Still does not excuse the invasion by Putin.

I understand if we are getting tired of supporting Ukraine in this war.

But Putin invaded Ukraine. There's no disputing that.

If a foreign power had invaded and occupied my homeland, I would not be morally adverse to poisoning their soldiers. There are practical considerations, like fear of reprisals, and the effect on public opinion of the outside world. As to the Nakam poisoning SS POW’s, I am all for it! The United States had an obligation to protect POW’s, granted, and they lived up to their obligations, but my heart is with the Nakam. And I admit my heart is with Ukraine, and with Taiwan.

Poisoning is for thieves and cowards.

Thanks for admitting what you are.

No, by not measure were the Nakam thieves or cowards. It’s easy to adopt a courageous and righteous demeanor behind a keyboard, but people resisting tyranny and oppression, or seeking a well deserved measure of vengeance have my respect.
