Normally I don’t work this late but there are potentially world-changing events happening tonight. For those that need a quick primer, you can go back and read these four posts for the longer version. This has been building up for months:
(snip)
So now let’s catch up on events of the past few hours. Prigozhin’s troops have been fighting with the army in and around the Russian town of Rostov.
(snip)
They attacked the headquarters of the defense ministry in Rostov.
(snip)
They apparently have taken control of the city.
(snip)
Prigozhin’s forces are already headed to Voronezh which is about halfway to Moscow.

Bush had the press against him. Biden will get hailed 24/7 by the press.
> Now is the time for Ukraine to hit Crimea hard… <
That would probably be a major mistake. An attack on “Mother Russia” would turn many anti-Putin Russians into pro-Putin Russians. Rally ‘round the flag, and all that.
And yes, I know Crimea is not part of Mother Russia. But most Russians don’t see it that way.
Putin has wisely not used tactical nukes on the Ukraine as this could lead to a nuclear war nobody wants. However, the Wagner group marching toward Moscow is entirely different. This truly is an internal matter of Russia. Putin might use nukes on Wagner?
The Ukes have merely punched through the weak front line which serves more as a recon force. Behind that are the real hardened Russian defenses. The Ukes haven’t been able to punch through that.
So what’s new? Events in Russia don’t change our leftist MSM
Maybe. I have wondered about that. He may not have the ability to do so.
It would have to be tactical nukes. Who controls them, and are there any available for his use, in the right place?
He has air assets available, and they probably have some tactical nukes. But nuking Russians on Russian soil seems pretty risky...
Putin was getting uncomfortable with how things were going, and demanded the mercenary groups sign contracts binding them to Russian. The Chechens did, and Wagner refused.
Crazy
Get stuffed, Glowie.
Perhaps, but that depends on Putin being over thrown and just who replaces Putin. Putin makes a lot of the other Russians look like a moderate Democrat.

LOL!
...what's the flight time for a sub-launched Russian ICBM from just off the East Coast, again?
“The pro-Putin propaganda club...”
They don’t know who their boss will be on Monday.
It would be awkward spending the weekend attacking Wagner if Putin is currently loading a plane with his billions and thinking of a flight to Cuba.
“If Putin is overthrown Biden will seem like a genius and there will be no stopping him in 2024.”
A civil war in Russia with thousands of loose nukes would be the largest global crisis since WWII.
At that point even the most bedrock Dem will realize it is not the time for a senile old man to be in charge.
If I were the Ukrainians I would regroup and see how this plays out because the biggest threat to Putin has always been his “inner circle”.
If the Chef has convinced his military that Putin and the Russian General Staff intends to kill them or incarcerate them again they will be quite motivated and if that was NOT the perception before it is now because they killed a bunch of them with an artillery strike.
If we believe the media coverage.....
The use of nuclear weapons inside Russia is unlikely. Nobody in Moscow is going to nuke one of their own cities, or risk further alienating Russian military members who are thinking about which side they want to be on.
