Over the weekend, moderate Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (WV) suggested he was considering a third-party presidential run in 2024 because he believes that extremism is becoming a serious problem for both Democrats and Republicans.
Manchin made his comments during an interview on Sunday with Fox News host Shannon Bream when asked about a new report from The New York Times about a self-described bipartisan group, “No Labels,” that wants a third-party presidential candidate in 2024. Manchin is at the top of the group’s list.

Then there’s this:
Cornell West
“I thank my dear brother Russell Brand for providing the stage for my presidential announcement! He is a progressive gem!”

THIS is actually a very good idea!! Anything to split Democrats side of the vote would help!! This would make the mail voter fraud task so much more difficult for them since they’d have to scramble for more votes than actually exist in certain key areas...anything to make their fraud so much harder!
Maybe. WV's paltry 4 ev's in a tight election could be cruical. Manchin could deny Trump those votes.
I don’t think he could draw enough votes to tilt things to the Rat. He certainly isn’t going to draw enough to win.
Trump would win KY by 25 pts, and Manchin won’t pull that much.
It is not clear that is the way it would work; it could.
The idea that Manchin could actually be elected president shows just how out of touch the Senator has become.
And we let him and 99 others just like him take and spend our money.
Democrats have been needing a shake up like Trump gave the GOP and Manchin and Cornell West just might deliver.
Didn’t someone try the “no labels” schtick a few years ago? Failed miserably.
But, whatever, Joe. Go for it. It will hurt the D’s more than the R’s.

Manchin will take votes from the middle, votes which could otherwise go Republican.
The kind of split we'd hope to see among Democrats is in their left-wing base, for example, radicals who don't think Democrats are obsequious enough to them and stay home or vote for a socialist candidate.
That’s nice. But what about West Virginia?
What’s Kentucy got to do with this?
Kentucky = Kentucky
LOL. You know what I meant.
I did. Have a great day!!!!!
As of Nov 2022 there were more Republicans registered in WV then Rats.
Don’t ask me how I responded to a tweet about WV and KY sprang into my mind.
I myself have no idea, buy it is what it is.
LOL.
Np
About 60k more GOP. I don’t see a lot of Manchin love there.
