E Jean Carroll sparred with Trump’s lawyer on Thursday after she claimed Trump “raped” her.
She told Trump’s lawyer that after she was raped she called a friend and told her about the alleged assault.
Carroll claims she phoned her friend Lisa Birnbach to tell her what had happened and that she was laughing during the phone call.
Joe Tacopina took a quote from E. Jean Carroll’s book where she said Birnbach told her the sexual assault wasn’t funny but she “couldn’t stop laughing.”
Carroll told Tacopina she was laughing because she was full of adrenaline and that she didn’t call the police because she was afraid of Trump.
“I did not want to tell my story,” Carroll testified, according to NBC News. “I was afraid of Donald Trump.”

Writer E. Jean Carroll, who alleges in a lawsuit that Donald Trump raped her in the 1990s in a New York department store, was questioned Thursday by a lawyer for the former president who repeatedly suggested her claim was made up.
“You were supposedly raped?” Trump lawyer Joe Tacopina asked Carroll early in his cross-examination.
“I was raped,” Carroll responded.
Tacopina pressed her on details about the alleged attack in the afternoon, asking skeptically about her contention that she didn’t remember seeing any other people on the sixth floor in the lingerie department of a Bergdorf Goodman, where she said she was raped in a dressing room.
“I saw no one on the floor,” she said, telling Tacopina her attention was trained on her conversation with Trump, which she thought was “funny” until he assaulted her.
Tacopina asked why she didn’t “scream for help.”
“I’m not a screamer. I was in a panic, fighting,” she said, becoming visibly emotional. “You can’t beat up on me for not screaming.”

Note that she doesn’t give a specific time or date as to when she was “raped”—saying it was sometime in the mid-1990’s. And if it really happened, why didn’t she call the police? Why did she wait more than two decades to say anything?

More like 30 years to complain. If that had actually happened in that store would not someone have not heard her scream or anything? Why didn’t she go to security, management, anyone to look for help? I wonder ion Trump has his office logs for that period to show where he was? Carroll graduated from the Blasey-Ford college of “How to Accuse the Rich and Famous of a years-ago rape and get away with it (for accolades and profit)”.
I don’t want any man to get away with rape, but if a police report wasn’t made at the time, and the victim can’t remember details such as the date or even the year, I assume they have a different reason for telling the story now than a wish for justice. Also, it’s rather convenient that she is a far leftist who has made public her hate of Trump and indicated she had a “scheme” to bring him down.
The allegations of “defamation” because Trump’s opinion as to her looks, differed from her own, should have been thrown out of court on day one.
If she was so effected by it, why did she wait so long to come forward? None of these c*nts can say why they wait years to come forward. She claims she’d been attacked on other occasions by other people. Why didn’t she report them when they happened? I’m more prone to believe that this woman was the one who made the sexual advances since she said on public TV that rape is sexy. You can’t rape the willing.
In a high end dept store with goods priced FAR beyond the reach of the Average Schmoe, there were no security cameras to record these comings and goings???? No security cameras to even record her arrival and trip around the store or her departure?? President Trump’s arrival and trip around the store or his departure??
