A UK man who is the owner of a scary-looking dog is speaking out about caring for the giant canine and how people often mistake the pooch for a predator. Jamal Miah, who lives in London, adopted the Central Asian Shepherd dog back in 2020. The dog now stands at six feet tall on his hind legs and weighs a jaw-dropping 187 pounds.

Meh. My youngest sister used to have a black/brindle Great Dane that weighed about 180 and stood around 6’8” on his hind legs. Fine dog, but died quite young, as Danes usually do.

He enjoyed playing “Walton and Jabbar”, in which I’d put my glasses on him and we’d shove each other around.

Sad thing about K-9s is rule of thumb, the bigger they are the shorter the life span in general.
