Smotrich said Sunday: "There is no such thing as Palestinians because there is no such thing as a Palestinian people." Predictably, Old Joe Biden’s handlers and other Leftists are enraged.. on the wrong side of the truth... Kirby wisely didn’t say that Smotrich’s assertion was false, .. The European Union, meanwhile, was much angrier than Kirby, ..run. Despite the EU’s rage, what Smotrich said was actually correct. Smotrich said: "Who are the Palestinians? I am Palestinian." He noted that before the founding of the State of Israel, the Jews in the Holy Land were known as "Palestinians." Meanwhile, "the Palestinian nation has existed for less than one hundred years." Smotrich issued a challenge: "I ask you who was the first Palestinian King, what language do they have, was there ever a Palestinian coin. Is there a Palestinian history or culture? There isn’t. There is no such thing as a Palestinian nation… They created a fictional nation and then worked for their fictitious rights to the Land of Israel just to battle against the Zionist movement. That is the historical truth and the biblical truth. That is the truth and there is no alternative." Indeed. Smotrich concluded: "This truth needs to be heard by the Arabs in Israel. This truth needs to be heard by the Jewish people in Israel who have gotten confused. This truth needs to be heard in the Elysee and in the White House. This truth must be heard by the whole world because this is the truth." Yes, it is. In 1948, when the modern State of Israel was founded, the Arabs of the area were offered a state also and rejected it. But no one called them "Palestinians." The "Palestinian" nationality had not yet been invented.

None of our business. Stay out if it.
Phew! We can stop worrying about it then.
What's a "Jordanian"?
The Holy Land was given to the Jewish People by G-d. Period.
I'm sorry that's not good enough for you.
If you do believe Israel was given by God to the Jews, that does not mean you have to show contempt to the people who lived there before the arrival of diaspora Jews.
Do why did Kirby react?
American foreign policy elites are obsessed with the Middle East (very much to the harm of the nation they serve).
You ask me why? I have no idea. Their list of treasonous behavior is long.
The other ways around. It was the Arabs, who invaded the Land of the Jews. Arab leaders sought to “throw the hews into the sea” The cowards left when the Mufti and other Arab leaders told then to.

AIM TO OUST JEWS PLEDGED BY SHEIKH; Head of Moslem Brotherhood Says U.S., British ‘Politics’ Has Hurt Palestine Solution
Special to THE NEW YORK TIMES.
By Dana Adams Schmidt, Aug. 2, 1948
CAIRO, Egypt, Aug. 1 — Sheikh Hassan el-Bana, head of the Moslem Brotherhood, largest of the extremist Arab nationalist organizations, declared in an interview today: “If the Jewish state becomes a fact, and this is realized by the Arab peoples, they will drive the Jews who live in their midst into the sea.”

Jordanian/Palestinian same difference. Same Arab group.
Exactly.
Arabs are Arabs.
More on Islamized “christian” Arabs of Palestine:
Issa Nakhleh (1915-2003): A supposed “Christian” - After a long bloody Neo-Nazi career, he published a glorification of Islam, Muhammad

Good point -nations are created, merge and die
The fact of them being called separately from other Arabs has, in effect, created them as a nation - or proto-nation
Jordanian too is an identity that is just about 150 years old.
it’s not quite that simple - Postel, you refer to the 1948 war.
But, let’s dial back to the time of Christ (I’ve just taken that date - we could start earlier but it leads the same way) - the population of what is now the land of Israel was occupied by a multi-cultural mix of Judeans, Samaritans, Nabateans, Syriacs, Romans, Greeks, etc.
In 70 AD when the temple was destroyed, the Jews still remained. But Jerusalem was razed to the ground — what we call “ancient Jerusalem” today dates to only 70 AD - and is the Roman city of Aelia Capitolina built by Hadrian around 120 to 132 AD
In 132 AD after the Bar Kochkba revolt (and the previous Kitos war when the Judaeans had acted like jihadis slaughtering gentiles in Cyprus and Cyrene - note “gentiles” as in pagans) was when the Roman authorities said enough is enough, and banned Jews from entering Jerusalem and much of the environments.
BUT Jews remained in the ares - both “ethnic Jews” i.e. those who became pagans and “religious Jews” - remember also that only around 130s do we get the separation of the 2 post-second-temple Jewish sects: the Rabbinical Jews (”Jews” as we call them today) and the Jesus-movement Jews (”Christians” as we call ourselves today).
Constantine allowed Jews to migrate back and to visit Aelia Capitolina i.e. Jerusalem once a year.
There were Jews in the city when the Arabs conquered it in the 7th century from the Roman Empire. In fact thew Jews were initially left in charge.
But over the century you had not only “Arabs” moving in but also Syriacs getting Arabized, Samaritans and Jews getting “Arabized” as in culture and language.
And many converted to Islam.
In the 1800s when Aliyah started, there were still small groups of Jews living in what would be the modern state of Israel but there were “Arabs” as in Arab speaking peoples who were not Jews.
They didn’t call themselves Palestinians - they probably referred to themselves by their religious group.
The Jews did, in 1947, push out Arabs from some areas and were pushed out of other areas by Arabs.
In my opinion The “Palestinians” should agree with the existence of Israel and join it as Israeli Arabs already do - the Israeli Arabs are citizens, can vote and stand for elections and are represented in parliament
