DNA Test Results Are In For 'Mystery Animal' Rescued By Texas Cops
The Pet Zealot ^ | March 23, 2023 | James Alain L.

Late last month, cops in Dallas, Texas rescued a cute little animal they found huddling near a dumpster. They saved the animal but the discovery soon had the rescuers wondering what kind of animal was it, exactly. When the mystery animal was brought to Dallas Animal Services, some people commented that it was a baby dog while others said it was a baby coyote or a hybrid of both.

Though the mystery animal, which was named Toast, was clearly a canine, Dallas Animal Services performed a DNA test to know for sure what species it was.

When the results came out earlier this month, little Toast turned out to be a cute dog.

"DNA results showed she is 20% Australian Cattle Dog, 38% Siberian Husky, and 42% German Shepherd."

It's going to get bigger.

“20% Australian Cattle Dog, 38% Siberian Husky, and 42% German Shepherd.”

In other words, a farm mutt.

Thank God there's no pit bull in it.

In dogs, as with people, some breeds are just genetically bad.

We adopted a dog from our local shelter 20 years ago - our vets had all kinds of theories on what mix he was. He looked a lot like a coyote but was very mellow and sweet. One vet thought he might be a coy-dog and another said dingo, lol.

In any case he lived to be 16 years old and was so dear to us!

I never saw the original story, but I cannot fathom labeling that pup anything near a coyote.

Stupid story.

“It’s going to get bigger.”

A lot of morons see that cute little puppy and just got to have it. Then it gets bigger, and bigger and bigger and they realized its droppings are human size and they need to float a loan just to feed it.

Then the poor animal gets dumped far away and abandoned near some farm, to become wild then shot as a nuisance.

And before it gets shot as a nuisance, it mates with a Chupacabra. And it’s cute babies are found near a dumpster and the cycle restarts.

Except this time you have a monster sized Chupacabra.
