More Nonsense from the Fake News: US Officials Now Claim “Pro-Ukrainian Group” Sabotaged Nord Stream Pipeline
Gateway Pundit ^ | Mar. 7, 2023 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 03/07/2023 3:13:46 PM PST by Kazan

Three deep-water explosions destroyed the Nord Stream pipelines under the Baltic Sea in September 2022.

Swedish seismologists reported that one of the three explosions measures 2.3 on the Richter Scale of earthquake intensity, but this was no earthquake. It was explosion—like a gigantic undersea mine.

The explosions guaranteed that Germany and the EU would not go wobbly with regard to sanctions against Russian energy imports. The damage to the pipelines will take months to repair, and repairs are unlikely to begin until this summer. Even if Germany were to cry “uncle” as civil unrest intensifies over lack of heat and energy, even if Russia decided to turn the power back on, the conduit for Russian gas to Europe was broken.

No country to this day has taken responsibility for the blasts that took out the Nord Stream pipelines to Europe.

Only one country benefited from the blasts. We wrote about this extensively at The Gateway Pundit after the attack.

The terrorist act put Europe in a bind with uncertain supplies of oil and gas before winter.

In a bold statement following the explosions, Secretary of State Tony Blinken cheered the news of the explosions as “a tremendous opportunity” for Europe “to remove dependence on Russian energy.”

Sweden released the first photos from the damaged Russian Nord Stream 1 pipeline to Germany after the blast.

The footage was published by the Swedish newspaper Expressen.

It is clear the explosion was not caused by Russia or the Western media would have reported that by now. Sweden did not share its investigation which seems odd unless they are protecting someone.

In early February Germany released its study of the disaster. Investigators concluded there was NO EVIDENCE that Russia was behind the explosions on the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines.

Also in February, a bombshell report was released by author Seymour Hersh pointing the finger at Joe Biden.

The report concluded that President Joe Biden personally oversaw a secret mission in which specialized U.S. Navy dive crews bombed the underwater Nord Stream pipelines, according to Daily Mail and Seymour Substack.

The report claimed that in June of 2022, Navy divers planted C4 explosives on three Nord Stream pipes, and three months later, they were detonated by a sonar buoy that emitted a signal that triggered the bombs.

Now we are being told the Nord Stream pipeline explosion was caused by a “pro-Ukrainian group.”

Seriously, who knew the Ukrainians had such a competent and advanced scuba team operating off the coast of Denmark?

Via Reuters.

New intelligence reviewed by U.S. officials suggests that a pro-Ukrainian group carried out the attack on the Nord Stream pipelines last year, the New York Times reported on Tuesday.

There was no evidence that President Volodymyr Zelenskiy or his top lieutenants in Ukraine were involved in the operation, or that the perpetrators were acting at the direction of any Ukrainian government officials, the newspaper reported, citing U.S. officials.

Who knew just 10 years ago that our media and intel community would become such a complete joke?

“THEY’VE ALREADY SENT GARLAND TO UKRAINE.”

Great point - it could be that Garland is FINALLY doing his job and gathering evidence on Nuland and others for Crimes Against Humanity.

...but I’m dreaming. But, IF, Trump gets a good AG (in 2025) maybe we can start holding these criminals accountable.

But it’s not “deep sea”, at all.

This was well in the zone of commercial underwater construction work. And easier than that, as all that would be needed would be to lower a large demolition charge into place.

There was an earlier article based on a German newspaper story with much more details.

“The Ukrainians are in NO WAY capable of blowing up this pipeline YOU are dreaming!!”

He knows that (as it’s so obvious), but then again, we all have to make a living. So cut him some slack, he has a tough assignment, compared to his buddies on Reddit and other forums.

Pretty hard to believe for a lot of reasons. The question I have is why the US authorities say it was Ukraine. Are they just plain incompetent or do they have an agenda?

Why not?
This is well on the scope of commercial underwater work. Way more complex dive jobs are going on daily, all over the world.
All they needed to do is find the pipeline (no great trick), orient the ship, drop divers to guide lowering the bomb, and set the timer.
This was at just @70meters, 35 fathoms. Go look in a Hydro chart for the Baltic.

BIDEN: "If Russia invades Ukraine there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring end to it"

Interesting. It’s either one POS administration or the other behind it.

Sadly, no way, Jose. I’m reasonably sure that he WENT TO UKRAINE AS A “FIXER”. Ukraine is the ONLY country that could LEGALLY COMMIT THE ACT OF WAR that the Nord Stream blasts were. So they want Ukraine to be the responsible party… even though they are not!

See post 6 above. The Biden regime is one short election away from HAVING THEIR CRIMINAL ACTS REVEALED. And this includes the EXTRALEGAL ACT OF WAR that was the American attack on the German-Russian jointly owned Nord Stream gas pipeline network.

Here’s the situation - you need to plant hundreds of lbs (at least) of specially designed explosives to blow up a pipeline with 1.5 inches of steel and 4 inches of concrete. You will need sophisticated remote detonation switches. You have do to this work 100 meters underwater where the temperature in water about 40 Deg. Repeat this in 8 different spots of the pipeline.

To dive that deep, you need advanced training, TRIMIX gas, and you’ll probably only be able to work about 20% of the time, as the rest will be spent decompressing. So you’ll probably need a team of a dozen divers, or more, working over several days with a large surface support ship.

Oh - and don’t get detected either, ‘cause you will be working a few miles offshore from Denmark, and in the middle of NATO military operations

And neocon bullshitters expect people to buy the notion that some ad hoc gang of Russians and Ukrainians did this?

Whatever.

If it’s the Ukrainians they were well within their rights to destroy Russian state (or even private) property in international waters. It is a war after all.

“ I vote for the Ukrainians. And as per German reports they were working out of Polish ports, so the US and the Poles both likely assisted by looking the other way”

Dude, you’re so transparent I can barely see you. Of course you want it blamed on the Ukrainians… they’re the ONLY NATION who could LEGALLY do it

Trump gets a good AG (in 2025) maybe we can start holding these criminals accountable.

The DOJ is America's KGB, so being American President without your own AG, is like being Premier of the Soviet Union and not having the KGB support.

As 4 years of Trump showed us - that is utterly impossible. They will do all they can to eliminate you.

So unless there is a MAGA wave in the Senate, which controls the confirmation process, it will never, ever happen.

Technicalities aside, I submit it was the U.S. government that blew up the pipeline.

No, you don’t need any of that.

It does not need to be sophisticated explosive. Naval mines and torpedoes worked just fine with guncotton filler over a hundred years ago.
Ukraine has lots of that “sophisticated” stuff anyway, in its own stocks of Naval mines and torpedoes. They still have two Navy yards in Odessa and Mykolaiev.
You don’t need sophisticated detonation switches, just a timer.
Depth was @70meters
All the diving tech is commercial and common in that world.
Divers would only be needed to guide the lowering of the charges into position.
Ukraine has experienced commercial divers.

It would not have been an ad hoc gang, it would be a state supported operation.

And, no doubt, both NATO and Poland carefully looked the other way.

Quite. They could legally do it. So it stands to reason that they were permitted to do it.
What’s so strange about that?
