Will Rationing be the Next Phase of the Great Reset?
Liberty Nation ^

Posted on 03/01/2023 5:22:20 PM PST by E. Pluribus Unum

In 2020, a team of academics from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom produced a paper, “Rationing and Climate Change Mitigation,” which argued, as the title suggests, that rationing fuel, food, and even clothes could be an effective way to reduce carbon emissions. The paper was accepted by the journal Ethics, Policy and Environment in January of 2023 and published on Feb. 19. This would seem a pretty extreme proposal, even if it came from the most zealous of adherents to the cult of climate change, but perhaps it’s another nudge in the direction of the Great Reset. It certainly does align with a strategy championed since 2020 at the World Economic Forum (WEF).

You’ll own nothing. And you’ll be happy. This was the first of “8 predictions for the world in 2030” that appeared in a chilling 2020 propaganda video produced for the WEF. So, how do the global elitists expect to wean the common folk off their irritating desire to own things? That is clearly going to be a gradual process that has already begun; the first stage is to get everyone used to consuming less – not just food, but all manner of goods from pork chops to pickups to pullovers. What better way to achieve this goal than to come up with an existential crisis; a threat so great that, if not addressed with drastic measures, would bring about nothing less than the extinction of humanity?

And what more effective method of accustoming people to owning less than to place limits upon how much a person can buy – all for the good of the planet, of course?

If these elitists keep taking things away from people I think they’ll find out just how happy they’ve made them.

This will fail eventually, these idiots behind all of this stuff are a bunch of suicide jockeys. If they keep pushing, somewhere, somehow, somebody will push back and it will not end well for them. It's like Dad used to say, "keep on beating them, one day they will grow up and beat on you."

Merry Olde England quit producing gas and coal and stopped much of the North Sea flow. Energy prices soared. Huge amounts of energy go into food. Ergo, sky high food input costs and farmers being forced to curtail production to make ends meet. Shortages and sky high prices.

I've seen picture of the UK, it is a beautiful country and I'd like to go there someday to see it but not much now. It's a shame that within the last thirty years, the left has really ruined it, give me old England anyday or even 1960's Swinging Britain over the crap today.

My Mom’s family hails from East Yorkshire. They went to Canada in the 1860s. I worked in England and Scotland a fair amount in the 80s and really enjoyed it. I’d like to go back to visit my Mom’s ancestral towns.

True, if you get their dander up, I would not want to be in their way. As to the UK, I think maybe their best hope is if the soccer hooligans need to get together (IIRC, Michael Savage once said this) and fix things, one of them needs to be Prime Minister.

Didn’t Dr Savage get himself banned from England?

I’ve been listening lately to old episodes (1990’s), of Art Bell on coast to coast am.
I dismiss the ghost stories and such, but every now and then he had some interesting and informative guests.
It’s amazing to me how timely and prescient some of the discussions are. Last listened to a guest called Phillip Hoag, who wrote a book on how and what to prep for natural disasters and also an EMP event.
I just ordered his book.

Prepper ping - Implimenting the gradual steps into the "Great RESET"
The concept of "the Camels nose is under the tent" is a method of preparing the population with a thought,
that later becomes incrementally manifest, and then becomes fact
It is in fact, a subliminal gradual form of brainwashing, which, when applied to human behavior modification, is called :"Grooming"

"You’ll own nothing. And you’ll be happy."
This was the first of “8 predictions for the world in 2030” that appeared in a chilling 2020 propaganda video produced for the WEF.

" And what more effective method of accustoming people to owning less than to place limits upon how much a person can buy

(My Comment) : The Great RESET changes the ethical and spiritual nature of mankind into humans being changed into just a non-personal number, a concept to be controlled.
The earth has becomes its own, State identified, pseudo god (!), with mankind now identified as the earth's servants,
rather than the earth serving the needs of mankind "to go forth, and prosper", as directed in the scriptures.
The Great RESET is in fact, a reversal of the divine and spiritual nature of mankind into subservience to an "elite", immoral , un-elected, "self-professed" leadership.
It is the devil's own church made manifest.

Americans went along with rationing during WWII because their hearts and minds were in it.

And even then, those who could grow or produce their own supplies did so to the best of their ability. And governments encouraged it.

This is different. The WEF doesn't want people exercising their independence. They're going to find it a lot harder to enforce.

I need to visit this thread more often. Very calming, no drama!

I’ve been making lots of alfalfa sprouts, as produce lately is expensive (haha) and the only decent store is 35 miles away. Today I’ll start making lentil and garbanzo sprouts too. They can be eaten raw or sauteed. I used to make mass amounts of sprouts for a friend who had a small produce delivery business and I’d sell to him. Not much money in it of course but I learned about sprouting.

Mung, azuki and pea sprouts are also good. Fresh and crunchy, very nutritious, and cheap.

I have no problem with going into rationing, and am already rationing here. None of it bothers me because I’m positioned for it. I also enjoy the knowledge that the fools that put these glorified street thugs in charge will suffer far more than me.

Doesn’t matter how much stuff you packed away. I did it too.

The illegal invaders are here to exterminate us when the grocery store shelves are bare and the free money rug is pulled out from under them.

In October of 2021 my wife and I were on I-70 in mid-Missouri and there were west-bound charter buses as far as the eye could see in both directions.

When we stopped at a town there were dozens of buses stopped at the mall for a food break. They were full of illegal invaders.

They are going to be roaming the countryside like locusts, and a high percentage of them are MS-13.

This is going to be so much worse than Holodomor, and they will eventually find us. And it doesn’t matter how many guns or how much ammo we have. The numbers will be overwhelming.

The department of defense has done experiments. People turn to cannibalism within ten days of going hungry.

Hopefully things won’t work out that way. If they do, then I’ve done the best I can with regard to preparation. Where I live new babies are brought from the hospital wrapped in camo, and the skyline in my Mayberry-sized down is defined by grain silos. I purposefully picked a small town surrounded by other small towns. Before things heat up I may have relocated yet again, and not necessarily within the US.
